:thumbsup He looked impressive against Zbik in his last fight, very sound technically but in better shape than he'd been in a while. Mentally more than anything, he showed that he still wants to fight.

There's so much hype around GG here, but I honestly think Sturm dominates him.

he looked in better shape because Zbik gassed out after, what 5 rounds? :deal

Sturm is slowly going downhill, he's not the fighter he was a few years ago, he knows GGG will be too explosive and too much to handle at this stage of his career :yep

Milton Nunez is a tough fight for alot of guys if given proper notice. One of those higher Clevel guys that could easily derail a budding prospects career with one well timed R hand.

I am sure Sturm himself will agree with you. Ha ha ha.

Just finish watching clips of Fuchigami vs Sato. Fuchigami didn't display impressive skills or talent. I think Golovkin can KO him within 2 rounds if he desires.

How skilled is Golovkin? Haven't seen many of his fights outside 1 pro an a few amateur fights.

From what I heard he is a big puncher but could Sturm behind a tight gaurd and use of the jab beat him?

Golovkins handspeed and power is out of this world. My guess is that he'd throw the L hook often enough early to alter Sturms defense and force him to fight off the back foot.

I'd take GGG to win that fight, but without seeing him fight the best LOC, it's tough to tell really. Im just guessing based off his am exploits and his best wins over the B and C level guys he's fought in the pros.

not sharing your faith in this guy who gives new meaning to padded record and bum killer. Colombia is perhaps the most corrupt boxing country in this day and time.

    Milton Nunez is 24-4-1
in his 29th fight fought a guy 0-3.

18 of his wins have come against guy

    his other 6 wins
    1-1
    8-16-1
    6-6-1
    7-1
    19-15-1
    23-6-1

yeah i know he knocked D Latimore down... but 99 out of 100 times, when he fights a top 100 guy, he will get knocked out brutally as he is known to do......

i'm in awe of his record....i would be embarrassed

GG is unproven...but beastly power...i can see Sturm boxing his face off for 12 rounds...or i can see Sturm getting flattened in 4 rounds.... really tough call. Sturm went life and death 2 times with journeyman randy griffin and was knocked out by 37 year old junior middle javier castellijo....
but we should already know the outcome rather than have 2 years wasted.....

i was wrong, he just utterly destroyed the farce of an opponent for 3 rounds

hopefully if we have to wait another 5 months for him to fight, it wont be against someone 17-6 next time.... i hope someone steps up, mans up and fights this guy... ANYONE?

Do you have a direct boxrec update in your brain somehow :)? Golovkin is doing what every ducked fighter should do - stay active move up the ladder and put pressure on the top dogs in the division.
