Good fight, but Arslan should have got the nod I reckon.

Close fight fought at close quarters.

It could have gone either way but i thought Arslan edged it by a point or two.

I said before, that Alekseev as a pro is a shadow of himself as an amateur, this fight is proof

    Alexeev really dissapointed me yesterday.
I expected him to be the first to stop Arslan, but instead he got outboxed/outworked by the 41 year old veteran.

One of two fights yesterday wich showed that a top amateur doesn't always translate to a top professional.

Thanks guys, I met Firat after the Vitali Arreola fight....very cool guy....glad to see he's still performing well at 41 and after two big injuries that kept him away for a time

:huh I only had Arslan clearly winning 3 rounds (8,9,10) everything else was on the inside with very little between them.

All that fight showed is that Alekseev and his incompetent corner forgot his identity/style and for some reason had him trying to fight like Diego Corrales. He is a pretty decent fighting on the inside now but he isn't a inside fighter. He's a boxer puncher and a very good counter puncher who should fight at range for the most part. Against Arslan he gave up all of his advantages and best attributes as a boxer to just stand and trade on the inside almost the whole fight. He is also one of the best body punchers in the sport and didn't throw to the body all night.

imo 115-113 Alekseev or 114-114 is what it should have been. 115-113 Arslan is possible but more of a stretch.

Int Butt's rbr was one of those instances where idk how he came up with it or what he was watching. 8 of the rounds were virtually even and could arguably go to either guy, Int Butt just gave every single one of them to Arslan and ended up with a 117-111 score if i remember correct which is absurd.

Firat seems to be a decent human, even though he's a Turk. :hat

Was Arslan already stopped before? :blood
I thought he was a iron chinned warrior, but apparently he's a china chinned bum (ESB chinchecker view)

Against Guilermo Jones he took a big beating at end and was cut bad.

But yeah, we all know if you lose your become a bum on ESB :yep

Against Herelius he came on strong but couldnt get back to his corner without assistance, or out from there again for that matter.
