calzaghe would have his most success in the first two rounds, as jones gages calzaghe's speed and assesses how he himself feels. during this, joe will land pitter pat flurries on jones that jones pretty much blocks and lets land ineffectively. after round 3, jones, would stay on the outside of calzaghe and utitlize his superior speed to potshot his opponent who struggles against fighters who use lateral movement.

calzaghe would become frustrated but remained focus and keep trying to come forward only to get hit in the face. rounds 7 and 8, jones will increase his aggression and begin beating the **** out of calzaghe with some very nice combinations to the bidy. calzaghe would stay strong, maybe suffer a knock down, but get up and keep fighting, landing enough to keep jones off of him.

the ninth round, calzaghe would look better as it looks as though jones has come off the gas. the round won't be very explosive but calzaghe will do enough to win.

At the start of the 10th round, jones will simply knock the overrated bum out and call him a ***** using an english accent. everyone will say calzaghe was just another protected euro bum and jones will receive the same credit for it that he got for beating glen kelly

Most of Jones' career was smoke and mirrors. People question Money and Pac's opposition, but at least the guys that they fight are relevant and in the top 3 in their division. Glass Jaw Jones fought some guys who were not even in the top 50 in his division while calling himself the P4P number 1 just because he clowned on some guy they pulled out of the local speakeasy.

 

You realise that Calzaghe broke his hand in the second round, fought on and managed to win against a world level operator. That's fighting through adversity.

 

I thought Cal won as well but dude is saying there are not ways to beat him, which is a dumb thing to say.

haha this 'no blueprint' nonsense does make me laugh. For instance, Floyd Mayweather is adamant there is no blueprint, yet if the judges scored the fight in favour of Castillo (which they were entitled to do so) then there'd be a clear 'blueprint'. What about Jersey Joe Walcott outboxing Marciano?

Hi MAG, sorry but I have to disagree. Joe Calzaghe is never an easy fight win or lose. The guy had a huge will to win, had a great ring IQ, athletic attributes and skills to compete with Roy Jones. Also, Jones would have a tough night with Calzaghe pressuring him, and trying to back him up against the ropes, especially out of that awkward southpaw stance.

 

if we talking about 1995-2000 roy jones it would be an Easy UD, maybe 118-110

2000-2003 Roy jones- closer fight- 115-113
