I think Galahad is technically better than a Kodiak bear, but would be ****ing mauled and devoured by one.

Because he's being picked to stop a guy he'd stop?

err, no....generally because he likes fighting genuine feather fists...outside of the really teak tough Ghanaiain of course. The daft thing is that the Kid will be the biggest puncher that he has met thus far if they boxed right now....that has to say something about very careful management.

tbh, galahad seems hard to hit, he would be a major step up from framptons usual level of opp. he might win, no way by stoppage though. i dont care for his amateur experience, this is the pro game.

That's really not true tbh. While Frampton hasn't been faced with too many big bangers, Yuri Voronin can really crack (and not do too much else anymore it has to be said), Gavin Reid mightn't be up to too much either but he's a bigger puncher than Galahad. Frampton's next opponent Raul Hirales isn't the biggest of bangers either, but he probably hits slightly harder than Galahad aswell.

It's not like they've been avoiding punchers, they were scheduled to fight Kiko before afterall until the Spaniard pulled out. It's just a case that very few guys at British/Commonwealth level carry much pop at this weight.

Galahad looked very very good tonight, unfortunately for him though he really does seem to be very featherfisted.

My seven pound cat probably drops a paw harder than Galahad can throw a fully loaded power punch.

...and I say that with all due respect, as Kid does have very pretty skills and has clearly been putting in work to improve them. Fact remains he couldn't pop a paper bag.

Come on, his power isn't THAT bad.

He doesn't have concussive power thats true but concussive power, whilst a nice to have, is pretty much overrated and only useful if you can get in a position to use it properly. As he moves along he is developing his power and some of the shots last night were spiteful and hurt Wale, especially some of the short hook counters. Don't be under any illusion, Josh got beat up.

Email McGuigan and tell him to make the fight then and we'll see. I'd pay to watch it.

Would be great while it lasts, but Frampton wins by knockout.

Galahad doesn't have the power or defense to beat Carlos.

Galahad has some nice touches (really like his uppercuts) but he cannot punch for **** even at domestic level.

    Frampton points.
