so you are mentioning that floyd would get $32M + another $25M from PPV upside? do you actually have the actual floyd contract on how much he is getting?

what about this, pac-jmm3 (with bradley as the undercard) made almost the same amount of PPV buys with floyd-cotto ( with canelo and mosley as the undercard). note that cotto is the third biggest draw in boxing.

you are having orgasm that floyd earned this figure when basing off their popularity, they are of equal in terms of pull. this fight is big because of both of them thus they both deserves to half the purse for the fight of this magnitude.

Manny Pacquiao had a very fair case for a 50/50 in the first negotiations...

UP TO THAT POINT, FLOYD RECOGNIZED HIS HIGHEST PAYDAY WAS ONLY $1,200,000 MORE THAN PACQUIAO'S HIGHEST PAYDAY, THUS HE AGREED TO 50/50.

Since the first negotiations, Floyd has brought in De La Hoya numbers...He has beaten Oscar's highest purse of $23,300,000 (Oscar's guarantee to fight floyd in 2007) and did $32,000,000.

There is your reason as to WHY 50/50 USED TO BE FAIR, BUT IS NO LONGER FAIR.

Floyd was even with Manny at the time...his highest purse was barley $1,200,000 MORE than Pac's highest purse of $25,000,000 at the time.

To add-I have since conceeded that Floyd only getting $50,000,000..those posts were multi quoted...so my figures were slightly off...I have also since conceeded that Manny has a high of $25,000,000...I FIGURED YOU *******S WOULD ACCEPT THAT SINCE THAT'S WHAT YOU GUYS WERE CLAIMING IN THE BEGGINING...BEFORE YOU GOT HERE PUGI NANI...But you just tried to up those numbers again.

The split for both fighters is projected at $100,000,000 and 3.0 million buys.

LMFAO as for your Pac Marquez almost did what May Cotto did...I could care less-MAYWEATHER DID 1,250,000 WITH ORTIZ, WHO HAD NEVER SHOWCASED A PPV.:deal

Your just reaching bro...FACE IT MAN...LIKE IT OR NOT, $40,000,000 WAS A CAREER HIGH FOR MANNY AND HE TURNED IT DOWN...

So Pugi nani..why don't you answer my posts..I have spent 20 pages giving sources, answers, numbers, etc etc...to you *******s...YET YOU *******S HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ANSWER HOW ONE GUY GETTING TWO TIMES HIS HIGHEST PAYDAY AND ONE GUY GETTING WHAT HE MADE FOR HIS PREVIOUS FIGHT WITH COTTO, IS FAIR TO BOTH FIGHTERS?

EXPLAIN PUGI NANI? C'MON NOW..Don't ask me another question...Postes are PM me that your just a troll on the forum and you don't even believe what you say so I'm about done after 20 pages...but c'mon pugi nani..go reply to my post....WAIT, YOU CAN'T CUZ IT EXPOSES YOU STUPID *******S AND PAC'S 50/50 STANCE....:rofl:rofl:rofl

I'm out...you were ****in played through this entire thread ******..Keep on believing Manny deserves to make double while Floyd would only make what he made for Cotto at a 50/50.:patsch Shows how ignorant you are.:rofl

To add-Nowhere did I ever say Floyd got $25,000,000 in revenue...I said he got $18,000,000...not hard to believe considering Manny took home $17,600,000 on top of his guarantee of $7,400,000 with Cotto and Marquez.

i love how you are working overtime compiling all these numbers from different sources and some where made up. at the end of the day, this is a big fight because of both of them and not floyd alone. a fight of this magnitude deserves an even split. their PPV numbers and live gate are on far with each other.

    Puganinana (Puga)

Let's say Puga, is the F1 World Champion driving for Ferrari earning €10m per year, & you pull in €20m sponsorship for the team each year. (which is a record)

Cat&theHat (cat) was last years world champion but earns €5m per year. Sponsorship €10m

Both are considered the best 2 drivers in the world.

Let's say the Redbull wants to put together a dream team. The 2 best drivers in the world, racing in the same car, the same team.

BIG BUCKS ALROUND DON'T YOU THINK.

Anyway, so the Redbull boss sits down to talk to Puga.

Boss: "Puga, I want you, & Cat to come race for me. We are going to make millions, & pull in more money then ever before.... You are the reigning champ, & I want you in the team."

Puga: "How much are you paying me"?

    Boss: "£10m per year"

Puga: "Errrr, but that's the same as I earned last year. I'm the reigning champ, & I bring in more sponsorship then any other driver. I think I should earn more than last year, otherwise what's the point in moving teams"?

Boss: I don't get your problem?

Puga: "Ok, how much is cat getting paid?

    Boss: "£10m"

Puga: "You must be shitting me? I am the reigning world champ, bringing in more sponsorship then any other driver. So whilst Cat is getting more money then he has ever before, I get paid the same as last year?

    Boss: Yes

    QUESTION:

Puga... would you sign the deal?

That has to be the worst analogy I've ever seen. The scenario doesn't make sense.

Edit: I didn't know **** about auto racing so I was confused about multiple drivers, but it's not like it's a **** deal, and turning the deal down amounts to little more than elitism. Bumping this down to third-worst analogy all-time and second-worst this month.

If the guy is a world champion earning $10m, why would he feel entitled to more? If he has an issue with someone else earning the same as him, that's his issue. He was paid $10m as a world champion and regardless of his team partner, he still deserves $10m.
