to be fair Jose use to be a very respectable contender, much better than his record suggests.

 

Maybe Mike Tyson is correct in stating that the post-40 heavyweight crowd should be restricted to competition among each other. First we've got 48 year old Razor Ruddock coming back, and now we're hearing from the ancient Ribalta. Not good.

Wheelchair boxing might be a lot of fun. How would you count knockdowns? Or nursing home patients with Alzheimer's and brain damage? Pugilistica Dementia would no longer be a concern. Would regulation canes be allowed? (When Pickett's Charge was reenacted at the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg by wizened survivors of that clash, the Union and Confederate veterans began fighting with their canes when the UCV representatives reached the GAR line at the High Water Mark site.)

You know some jackal somewhere will give him a license, and the same for Ruddock. Boxing abuses it's participants like no other sport.
