    this.

Bradley is fighting pac just to get his name out there. Pac won't knock him out ( hopefully pac doesn't accidentally knock him out ). Bradley is young and american. I also think and worried that this might end up being one of Pac's worse fights because of business reasons.

This fight is nothing more than a tune up fight.

Bradley's fan base is next to nonexistent. He was signed by TR specially to provide them with a legitimate option to match against Pac - if all else failed.

Well, all else failed and here we are.

Finally some sense. Bradley doesn't have Pacquiao's fan friendly style nor Money's charisma. Even these two deficiencies would be OK if he had a fan base...he doesn't.
There's no setup here, it's simply the best matchup that could comfortably be made at this weight right now...

No, it's just a fight between two of his fighters that will make alot money. Arum knows a loss against a another great fighter doesn't necessarily destroy a fighter's marketibility, and in Bradley's case just getting the exposure in a Pacquiao fight, win or lose, will likely help raise his low profile. No need to go into conspiracy theories based on personal bias and no facts. Has Arum not put his hot or undefeated fighters in tough fights before and against other fighters of his? (think Cotto, Pavlik, Margarito, Pac, Morales, Mayweather, De La Hoya, Castillo, Foreman, Wolak, Clottey, Arce, Montiel, Donaire, Viloria, Segura, Calderon, etc, etc..)

I think if Pac gets past Bradley (and Mike Jones WHO stays unbeaten) Arum will TRY to make him the "cash cow".

great thread. i've also pondered the same thing. but perhaps arum would prefer bradley loses to pacquiao, then khan beats and bradley and goes on to "beat" pacquiao since he's got more earning potential and knock out power than bradley.

bradley can't draw flies. the only reason arum matched pac with him is due to his undefeated record which non-boxing people and the general public would immediately translate as a great fighter hence the reason they'll buy the fight when they see the match up on paper.....

This is Bradley's chance to shock and awe if he beats Pac in a close heated battle they'll have a rematch and Bradley's fanbase will boost. In order for that to happen though Bradley is really going to have to let the guns blaze but if he has it in him he'll become a star overnight it really depends on Tim I also highly suggest he stop being so humble and be the Bradley we seen in the Alexander build up

You are an incredible mind reader, or...you are a damned fool.

Agenda? No agenda. Cotto told Pac to **** off with his 147lb demand. Lamont Peterson chose to fight Khan and Pacquiao didnt want any more ass-whoopings from Marquez. Bradley was the last guy he wanted to fight.

arum know whats hes doing, he know bradley will out point manny and hes gonna rob tim and cash in during the pac floyd fight

at the same time he can have bradley win the rematch with manny and build his name up for the future

    :yep

There's no logic in Arum showcasing another gift/robbery decision in favor of Manny to the world if he wants to cash out against Floyd with high fan interest. Bradley winning would not be conducive to Arum's long-term earnings. At the same time, however, as the post quoted above me states, Bradley was not his first choice, and as I said before, is probably the most high-risk/low-reward fight he's taken.

A move in that direction would make far more than sense than any gambit in Bradley's favor...
