    Round 1 Cotto
    Round 2 Draw
    Round 3 Cotto
    Round 4 Floyd
    Round 5 Cotto
    Round 6 Cotto
    Round 7 Cotto
    Round 8 Cotto
    Round 9 Draw
    Round 10 Draw
    Round 11 Draw
    Round 12 Floyd

I didn't score points for Floyd hitting Cotto on the gloves...granted I acknowedged the ones that got through.

Floyd's body shots for the most part were not power shots but pokes.

In Cotto's combo's his right hardly found the mark, however his left hook or jab did.

When Cotto would land combo's or some power shots there was silence from the commentators....then they would comment on Floyd's left that alomost landed!!!

I can count on my fingers all of the uppers that Floyd landed in the whole fight....most of his rights were clubs and blocked.

People have to understand that boxing is a business... Floyd was going to get the nod no matter what. One Judge actually scored the fight 10 rounds to 2 rounds! LOL That was absurd.. This kinda thing hurts the sport.

Great....finally some reasonable sense. I think a round by round will be very beneficial for you especially if you watch with the volume on "0" !!!

maybe so. But Floyd clearly won that fight. i gave 4 rounds to cotto and one of those rounds i gave him was a toss up.

Just watched this fight again on the HBO replay. Watched it about 4 times now. This was a competitive fight. But Mayweather clearly won. Cotto made a good account of himself, but come on man. Cotto won 4 rounds at the most. I had it 117-111. Even in the rounds Floyd lost, he hit Cotto with some good shots. Cotto's shots rarely landed flush, and when they did, they didn't do damage. Entertaining fight though.

I'd say make a thread with your score card and analysis of why you scored each round the way you did but you would be wasting your time. It would be filled with the same kinda crap.

Cotto has half the plausibility for a winning scorecard than Pacquiao against Marquez III which is sayin something

Thank you for your informative and thought provoking post even though it clearly isn't your scorecard or discussion of what happened in the ring. Do you ever actually do that? :think

I initially leaned towards Mayweather to beat Pacquiao, however, based on what I've seen....Pacquiao will defeat Floyd.

I never cared for that fight, but now I'm actually looking forward to it as long as its not in Vegas!!!

Floyd won't fight outside Vegas. Pac's problem with Marquez was Juan's ability to fight long. While they aren't power punches he was able to land them. Floyd has a naturally freakishly long reach. I think Sr. probably put him on the rack as a baby to lengthen his arms in hopes he would go into boxing. Floyd's naturally long arms will be a big problem for Pac.
