Testing is pretty good in terms of the laboratory procedures. However, the protocol is a bit problematic.

There are thousands of athletes in the USA and USADA probably have less than 100 staff to actually do a year round testing. There are only 4 WADA accredited laboratories in the USA and so samples must be sent only to those loaboratories.

With the YEAR ROUND testing protocol, the only deterrent that USADA is relying is that athletes are afraid of using PEDS because they could RANDOMNLY be tested...... basically, they are using the FEAR as deterrent.

USADA is only mandated to be the American arm of WADA and has not jurisdiction in professional sports. And so NSAC would not be under their jurisdiction. Infact, the testing being done in the Mayweather fight was probably paid for by Mayweather.

If you study the USADA charter, you will understand its limitation especially the funding component,

You seem to know this stuff pretty cold. Good work.

I just know that guys are still cheating and there are things that tests cant catch. So its hard for me to get excited when I hear that some guy is 'drug free.' How dumb do these dudes think people are?

Agreed. VADA and USADA actually worked together on the May 5th card fighters during their camps. Very good stuff.

Who cares, it's still a step up from NSAC's weak ass testing. As long as it's upgraded their really shouldn't be any complains.

Yep I don't understand how anyone could complain about more testing? Like who doesn't want to have a clean sport with clean athletes!

their samples, on the athletes they are testing, go through CIR test just like VADA??

what i read is, USADA is claiming that CIR is part of their routine test which is true but only after if the athlete's T/E is past a certain level.
