Be honest. Do some people want to see Bute lose to Froch for Wards credit?

    Be honest. Do some people want to see Bute lose to Froch for Wards credit?

    It does appear that Ward doesnt want to fight Bute.
    Be honest do alot of Ward fans want to see Bute lose to Froch, so they can say Ward doesnt need Bute and that he cleared out the division and then avoid Bute?
    Bute is taking a gamble Ward has never done here as Bute is the champ, travelling with everything to lose and nothing to gain. Ward has never done anything like that.

    So be honest, do Ward fans want to see Froch beat Bute to secure Wards legacy and to not have to meet Bute?

    Totally dont get why Ward doesnt want to fight Bute. He would smoke him

    Only guy at 168 who beats Ward has retired

    How much pressure would it put on Ward if Bute clearly beats Froch?

    I would favour Bute at this time. Thats what makes it a good fight as opinions are divided

    i think bute beats froch, but fighting in froch's backyard makes it much closer than it would be otherwise.

    its clear ward doesn't want to fight bute, let alone step out of his own backyard, so i think you can safely say that all ward fanboys are praying for a froch victory so that they don't have to keep justifying why ward won't make the fight with bute.

    if bute beats ward, there is nowhere left for ward to hide. i think that ward would rather move up to 175 than face either bute or dirrell.

    It seems Lucian Bute is being avoided.

    Pavlik, Kessler and Ward dont seem to want to fight Bute and are making excuses. Dirrell says as challenger that the fight would have to be in his home country.
    Now Bute is taking his show on the road and travelling to make the fights. He was willing to fight Ward in Oakland
    So It looks like Bute is being avoided.

    only people like you FAILEY look at try to increase or take away from a guys record as you see fit after a guy you dont like continues to win. u have to figure out a way to discredit all his big wins....
    while froch would be a good win for bute, its not as big as the ass whipping ward just put on him, and also it will be his 3rd loss in 5 fights. so it actually will hurt your case should Bute win...and really hurts your case if Bute looses ...

    I dont have a case. It was a question.
    I am a fan of the SMW division full stop, regardless of the fighters. Have been since SRL/Hearns rematch SMW unification.
    I agree Bute beating Froch does loses a bit of its sparkle as Ward has just beaten Froch, but Kessler had beaten Froch just 2 fights previously, but there is glamour to the win because unlike Ward, Bute is willing to travel.
    What case of mine would it hurt if Bute beat Froch?
    Bute would put pressure on Ward if he wins as he has done it in Frochs home country.
    Ward seemed a bit exposed by Froch, i thought Froch won around 4 rounds and Froch is slow with a low workrate. Yet could still win rounds. Ward looked troubled at the end like he did against Bika.
    As Ward seems to not want to fight Bute and the way you have reacted, I guess you would like Bute to lose, but I will give you another chance to answer the question on the start page

    Well he is the champ and travelling to an opponents back yard. If he was the challenger he would have a title to gain, but as champ if he loses he loses his belt and the fight with Ward that he wants

    I think Bute is overrated and Ward beats him either way....But maybe others want to?
