Be honest. Do some people want to see Bute lose to Froch for Wards credit?

I agree Ward should be rated #1 and have not said different, though I think Bute would beat him.
Anotherfan made a comment about Ward being able to overcome adversity. Which I thought was a big comment prompting this reply, which I stand by and doubt anyone could say different to. This shows that besides Ward and Bute the SMW division isnt that strong

How do you get that.
Have we seen Ward fight an undefeated fighter in a big fight yet?

Have we seen Ward fight a top prime opponent yet? Dont say Kessler as he was unwell suffering double vision and even now full of injury probs and Froch was an old 34 year old who is not a top SMW, consider he was taken to a MD by an old SMW who used to be a SMW journeyman and who had lost more at SMW than won

Have we seen Ward fight abroad in a big fight?

No we havent seen any of those things yet

 

I was a big fan of Dirrell when he was on the way up, as his comp was very good for a prospect, but since getting near a high level, hasnt done much at all and hasnt shown that this skill is what it is believed to be against a top SMW.
Froch is a slow low workrate SMW not thought to be massively skilfull and past his best, yet he fought evenly with Dirrell and then lost to an unwell Kessler coming off a loss

 

You dont have to show me those, ive already seen them and I think Bute should have lost to Andrade first time around. I dont take too much notice of an old amateur video, D Tua who had a great chin and many other goods fighters have been stopped as amateurs.
But If you think Bute being hurt against Andrade was bad, just look at Ward doing the chicken dance against D Boone. I dont know how Ward got that decision and that was a lesser fighter than the then Ring #3 Andrade.
Just watch Ward/Boone and tell me how you scored for Ward

How are Kessler and Froch better than Bute? Kessler was a better SMW but was unwell suffering double vision and how do you get Froch being better than Bute?
Lets remember with Dawson that his best win is over a fighter 18 years older and his other 2 big LHW wins are over fighters 14/15 years older. Also dont forget that Dawson lost to Pascal who lost to Froch.
Bute has far more SMW experience than Dawson and is far more proven at the weight.
I think Ward easily beats Dawson, but dont think he does Bute. Im surprised you think Ward wants the fight when it was offered in Oakland
