What prime version of any fighter would you consider unbeatable?
On any particular night or any particular year would this fighter that you name not be able to be stopped by anyone they were matched up with?

I think that it would be hard for anyone to handle the George Foreman that prevailed in the Lyle fight

    Lhw: jones
    Smw: jones
    Mw: robinson
    Lmw: hearns
    Ww: robinson
Sfw: mayweather (recently revised opinion, the guy really was the dogs bollox at sfw)
    Sbw: gomez
    Stw: lopez

In the divisions listed, I don't see the fighters listed ever losing.

    Wilfredo Gomez at 122.

The only one of the top of my head i would give a slight chance to beat him would be Eder Jofre and he would still be a big underdog.

    Nobody.

There are to many styles, attributes and strengths/weaknessses for anyone to be truly unbeatable. It would never happen, even in the lab.

Whilst I do agree with this, that's the difference between theory and practice.

In practice where everyone to fight everyone, everyone would lose. But in theory, for example, there isn't one smw i'd favour over jones.

In theory, if there isn't a fighter I think I would beat fighter A, I still acknowledge I would be wrong as you have. I have no problem with you position, fair play. You're wrong and you know you are but you do your own sums.

Yeah, if the question was is there a guy you would favour over everyone in their best weight class, at their best I'd say Robinson, for instance, but the TS said "unbeatable" which is like a comic book or fairytale character. Silly stuff.

I think SRR is beatable at MW, considering the amount of great fighters than have been in said division.

Same story with Jones Jr at LHW.

Fair enough, who then in your opinion would you consider of having the best shot at pulling something like this off even if they lost a few here or there ?
