How many fighters can follow the Marquez blueprint to beat Pacquiao?

  1. I think Berto can, and Bradley will. Also, if Mosley rematched him, he might be able to do it.

It not only takes the counter punching, But the balls to get hit trying to exchange.
(Not many active fighter's can do this)

Floyd, Bradley, I'd put my stock in Mike Jones before Berto.

I think Bradley and MAY are the closest to emulate giving what they have shown...

  6. Add Alexander to the list, I think Pacquiao won't be able to handle these guys. KO late.

    Floyd and possibly Bradley.

But I feel that if all it took was fighting of the backfoot and the use of counters then everyone would try to take advantage of this, same thing when people say that you need to pressure Floyd with the Castillo gameplan in mind. it just not easy to do and this is why they are P4P fighters.

berto definitely cant. he's not skilled enough defensively and he lacks the discipline to fight off the backfoot for 12 rounds, and if you looked up "shot" in the dictionary, you better believe a picture of mosley's face would be there. to be honest, I dont know how you can come to the conclusion that mosley would be able to do anything with success against pacquiao after his performances against canelo, and one fight before that, pacquiao. when you make comments like that, especially about mosley, it makes people think you know nothing about boxing. no one in pacquiao's weight range other than floyd can implement marquez's gameplan against pacquiao.

furthermore, I dont know how, in the months since the fight was announced, bradley has become some defensive wizard in the eyes of some of the guys on this board. he doesnt have half the skills of marquez. if he's beating pacquiao, which he wont, he's doing it via sheer physicality.

I have to say I'm no fan if Pacquaio but he is starting to get a bit underrated when Alexander and Berto are starting to get favoured over him, he may have arguably lost to Marquez but that doesn't mean that he isn't and elite fighter with wins over many top fighters.

Floyd won't use the Juan blueprint to whoop emmanuel's AZZ. It would look more like Tijuana-emmanuel I except Floyd won't be brawling like Tijuana.

Floyd's build is closer to Tijuana than it is Juan. Floyd and Erik can both throw the right to the body with ease. Juan on the other hand relied on left hooking to the body.
