Well because both fights are coming around at the same time so it's easy to compare which is more interesting (no contest and well done for correctly admitting Wlad/Thompson is a poo fight), and i'm not the only one to compare i think it's just because i have Lewis in my avvy that you've picked my post out.

The reason people are making a big deal out of Haye/G$ora i think should be obvious. It's a genuine grudge match with hype surrounding it and whether you think so or not, many think it will be competitive.

Finally with how much Vitali has slowed down lately it ain't hard to imagine a more ambitious Haye giving him way more problems than he gave Wlad. If, as you say "euro-level G$ora" (yep he was a 16 fight novice in Vitali fight) can push him then Haye who you claim is much better than Dereck will push Vitali equally if not, a lot harder.

Not obsessed, just seeing things for what they are.

I think Haye's speed and power will drop CHisora like water buffalo.

Vitali would have, but the arm injury, his win still impressive enough, given that he didn't have the left to work off of.

But a healthy two armed Haye makes clown shoes out of Chisora.

Hilarious how they are promoting this fight.

    Is this the WWE?

But hey, whatever sells the fight.

The problem is, Chisora is the type to just smash that fence down to get to Haye. I really hope Chisora doesn't do something stupid to put this fight in jeopardy.

Actually, it cheapens the sport. These two jackasses HAVE brought boxing down to the level of the WWE.

I agree that the fight might not be entertaining, because David Haye just isn't an entertaining fighter to watch (despite what his fans claim). However, if Chisora is able to bring it to Haye, it might be pretty good. Haye is a counterpuncher so in that respect a come forward fighter like Chisora is ideal for him. But against Vitali we saw that Chisora has got good head movement and a hard body attack and this could spell trouble for Haye. Either Haye is able to outmanouver Chisora to a boring points victory or Chisora is able to walk him down in which case the fight might get exciting (I don't see Haye standing up well to concerted pressure).

David Haye is an entertaining fighter when it comes to fights like these because he's not that great on the backfoot and is normally forced into a trading match. Haye is normally a boring fighter when he has to come forward because he's not a relentless attacker, he's a boxer puncher that likes distance for his right hand to be thrown. This certain fight should be quite good if Chisora can take haye's punches, if he can, then it could get very interesting.

1st of all.i have always stated haye would have had a better chance against vitali than wlad..haye hasnt got the power to knock wlad out with the one shot..infact this punchers chance against wlad is abit stupid considering he has never been one punch kayod..back to point..the fight is indeed a grudge match and it will be entertaining up untill fight night.but like i said haye will beat the ears of chisora.if he dosnt i will come and personally high five everyone who thought otherwise..and chisora didnt push vitali he got outboxed by an old man with one arm who could not use his best asset (his jab) and still got beat down....why would i care if you have lewis in your avvy??i love the guy...and would it not be better to be compareing pov v rock since it is on the same night and thus closer together with the haye v chisora??

Err idk where this Haye can KO Wlad with one punch stuff come from but it's not related to anything i said in my posts.

If you think Haye kicks G$ora's arse that's your opinion, me personally i'm sat on the fence about it. I'm still undecided on how good Del Boy is and we don't know what Haye will turn up. Very intriguing though hence the interest, which you are questioning.

Yes Vitali did win clearly against G$ora but to say he wasn't pushed is false. He was pushed in nearly every round and it's a common thought it's his hardest fight since Lewis.

As for Pov/Rahman, it's never gonna get the same exposure as either of these two fights, Povetkin dissapointed against Huck and Rahman hasn't been relevant for 4-5 years, even longer. Plus they've both pulled out today i think.

So that's it, you asked the question why the hype for Haye/G$ora over Wlad/Thompson 2, it's pretty clear.

no your mistaken..i asked why the hype over it full stop.it had nothing to do with wlad or thompo..you brought that up which is why i asked where you obsessed..you didnt bring up hayes one punch power to knock wlad out.i did as i was making an observation that i thought haye always had a better chance against vitali and he was stupid to think he could knock wlad out with one punch..anyhow.im getting at the fact that haye chisora will be a letdown and an easy night for haye..regardless of how funny and amusing the build up will be.im more intrested in the boxing not the outside of the ring ballix.

Ok i see, yep maybe Haye did have a better chance against Vitali, i didn't think so, and 95% of us at the time thought he had a better chance of beating Wlad. Which was right. It's only now Vitali's slowed down i'd fancy n ambitious Haye to give him a tough night, i'm sure that's Haye's train of thought too.

Personally i'm looking forward to the Haye/G$ora build up. It should be fun.

Chisora has set a new record on consecutive losses, while STILL being able to get fights with big names.

Chisora shares a lot in common with Carl Thompson and Giacobbe Fragomeni, both guys who posed major problems for Haye, and in Thompson's case beat his arse. He's tough, stocky, constantly on the offence, high output to body and head, decent inside fighter, good head movement and deflects punches well with his cross-armed defence. Haye's overhand right is going to be nullified in this match, and he's going to be forced to fight on the backfoot without much chance for rest. Nothing he's done thus far in his career tells me he's going to walk through Chisora with ease.
