i guess background, but OP did just ask where he's from. . . i don't think it's a big deal that you pointed out he was jewish, though. . Is he jewish?


Jewish is just a religion, though. . just like christianity, islam, hindu, etc. .


I don't know why people who practice judaism are referred to as jewish for their race/ethnicity, but christians aren't referred to as "christian", or more specific, "baptist, methodist, catholic, etc."

Jewish is the ethnicity, Judaism is the religion. Although their religion has their ethnicity somewhat rolled into one.
