That significant Cotto win brings Money May to 12-15 on ATG list

Mayweather does not belong on that list! Please, there are so many more fighters more deserving. Ricardo Lopez 53-0, Salvador Sanchez, Ruben Olivares, Bernard Hopkins, Oscar De La Hoya, James Toney. Mayweather should be ranked from 30-50. Unbeaten records don't mean **** unless you fought the top guys in their prime and in the proper weight class. Mayweather is disqualified on the basis of being a scared coward for not wanting to take on Manny Pacquiao. I know the rest of the ATG would never run away from any challenges.:----------(

If he beats Pac he will be top 30. The win was going to be huge 2 years ago though. It is still a great win but....

 

Floyd is not on any list of ATG fighters. Not top 15.. Maybe top 60 or 70. For a fighter to get up to a big ATG rating he has to beat other greats. Where does Cotto rank for Mayweather to jump to 13? A great to be top 15 in my mind has to beat other greats of the same quality, or they do not belong there. Which is also why I never thought Duran belonged in the top list. He belongs much higher than Floyd however.

As for the thread, no. Top 35-40 currently. He can make top 25 if he beats Pac/Martinez.

This. . He's around 38-40 right now. . Wins over Khan, and Canelo will place him around 28-30. . . Win over Pac, or Martinez, he goes to 18-20. . .

Win over BOTH pac, and martinez, he goes to 12ish.

 

Pac is around 33 right now. . Win over Bradley moves him 28-30. . .

Win over Floyd brings him to 12ish.

 

If he had beaten a prime Cotto at 147 in 2008, and say Tszyu in 2005 and Pac in 2010, along with say, Mosley, I think he'd be a lot closer than where he is now.
