CBS Sports article CLEARLY LISTED HBO as releasing the official numbers.

    HBO has also released JMM-Pac 3, Cotto-Pac, Clottey-Pac, Margarito-Pac, etc etc...

HBO is more credible than Bob Arum, who consistently runs away from any questions that expose Pacquiao's stance.:deal

Arum is his promoter, he's paid to promote positively. I wonder why people act as if Arum is just Pacquiao's biased buddy.

I know. Arum is also the reason the fight is not happening. He runs away from questions that expose Manny and his 50/50 stance...

Pacquiao would make $15,000,000 more than he ever made if he took $40,000,000.

Floyd just made $32,000,000 plus about $18,000,000 in revenue for a total of $50,000,000.

At 45/45-10 to the winner, Pac would guarantee $20,000,000 more his high payday, while Floyd would only make $5,000,000 more than he made with Cotto, and $5,000,000 less if he lost the fight.

When you're talking about a "subsidiary" like an HBO or a SHOWTIME their profits and earnings most definitely are the care of share holders...why? Simple...because nice piece that makes up that BIG pie rests on the annual numbers that subsidiaries like HBO and SHOWTIME produce.

I said it before...the who units that are purchased aren't for the share holders...thats for us...the fans to help keep us tunning and and to grab the attention of the casual fans who tap into the "BIG FIGHT" market that allows PAC and Floyd to hit these kinds of huge numbers whenever they fight.

god damn!! i predicted 1.4, surprised this is the 2nd highest PPV ever. mayweather has beaten pacs PPV #'s with all common opponents.....Pac doesn't have a leg to stand on with regards to a claim that 50/50 is fair based on their #'s and popularity.

At the End of the Day YES!! Pac Might Be More Famous Than Floyd World Wide But they are Fighting In America and In America Floyd is the Cash Cow!!!!
All the Revenues + PPV Sales Prove that.
Floyd Fights Goes for $10 More Than Pac's on PPV
And the Cheapest Ticket for his Fights is around $700
While pac Fight in Cowboys Stadium where Tickets Go for As Low as $50
    Dude I'm Arguing Facts!!!
Dude yes 100 Million People In the F..cking Philippines Watch pac Fights But they aren't Putting any Money in the Pot!!!
So on American Soil Floyd is King(By PPV And Revenue)...

Pac Should Just take the Fight 40 mill. Plus get a Little PPV Sales..
And if he beats Money There Will be a Rematch, And in the Rematch Whatever Pac gave To Floyd in the First Fight, Pac gets those in the Second Fight..It's That Simple Homie!!!!

The Mayweather v Cotto numbers are official numbers released by HBO, I don't know how else to prove it to you.

    I thought Maywaether.Cotto was 19 million.
    i guess not

For a little fun, let's compare gate figures for boxing and MMA in Nevada. The No. 1 MMA gate was the $5,397,300 generated by Chuck Liddell's second fight with Tito Ortiz in 2006. That doesn't even register on the boxing list.

The official list Nevada provides only runs 35 deep, and the No. 35 boxing gate was $6,239,050 for Larry Holmes' heavyweight title defense against Gerry Cooney in 1982.
