Right now? Boytsov, without question. His fundamentals are much better, and he's a great counterpuncher when he actually has an aggressive opponent in front of him. Jennings probably has a great future ahead of him, but he's not ready for a really good technician yet. I'd like to see Jennings fight Mitchell. That would be MIGHTY interesting.
Probably just favour Johnson in this one. He can beat anybody on his day not named Klitschko or Povetkin. Looking forward to see who he faces next with there being talk of it being a big name.
Boytsov has yet to step in the ring with a world class fighter while Johnson has proven he can hang with the elite so I have to go with Johnson.
So that's what that was, "hanging with the elite" Johnson's record isn't that much better as Boytsov's.
Yeah maybe I should use a different phrase. We have seen Johnson fight the elite meaning Vitali Klitschko. Johnson was thoroughly outclassed by Vitali but at least he has stepped in the ring with a world class fighter. Boytsov has had 30 fights and is still feeding off lower tier fighters.
Boytsov can beat Johnson and Johnson can beat Boytsov, it would be easier to answer definitively if they fought each other.
I agree. And after Johnson murdered Leapei......wow. Showing some power and willingness to trade. Johnson's on the up....for real.:good
