Mike Jones vs Kell Brook

Very good fight in my eyes. One that would make for a very good title eliminator next year.

Both are still a bit green and haven't really had a proper test. Out of the 2 I would say that I am currently more impressed with Kell (although that may be down to me seeing more of his career).
Mike jones has impressed me though. Very good boxer, very slick and is a big lad at the weight but at the moment Kell's ring smarts, patience, awkwardness, accuracy, speed and power have me just edging towards him. Would love to see this fight though.

Jones isn't every good at this point. He is fundamentalty flawed and may never improve.

 

I like Jones, I think he is very fundamentally sound, mentally tough, adaptable, and has enough power to trouble anyone at 147.

Kell Brook is typical UK hype job, only good prospect I see coming out of the UK is Eubanks Jr.

Jones has bad balance, he's easy to hit, and he's an arm puncher.

That is not fundamentaly sound.

 

I don't see Cotto, Bradley, Khan, or even Ortiz going life and death with Karass.

 

Kell's previous promoter, Frank W***** says that this fight was nearly made a year or 2 ago but Kell turned it down

After M.Jones beats Bailey & Brook beats C.Jones then this fight will finally happen, probably in the US & Kell wins on points

 

Cool story breh...to say Jones "isn't every good at this point", makes you look as ******ed as the other cat. Regardless what he goes on to do or not, it doesn't change the fact as it stands today he's one of the 10 best in the world at his weight class...I'd say that's pretty ****ing good.

 

Maidana, Khan, Alexander, Bradley, Cotto, Alvarez, Margarito, Mayweather, Pacquaio, Ortiz, Berto, and I can go on...

Are all better than Jones.

It seems like Jones has been a prospect since 07.

No he isn't. Alright "sucks" wasn't the right word to describe him. He isn't world class.
