I am a fan of Manny Pacquiao , but I am seriously getting the feeling that Freddie Roach is seeing limitations in his fighter and rather than fighting the best he is putting Manny in a place to look great against OK fighters

Bradley is in all respects a pretty good world champion , but does fall into the category of being pretty good at everything and not great in anyone department.

Roach does know his fighter and Bradley is just a younger fresher Hatton nothing more .

Bradley will come forward with wide punches which have very little power at this level .

Roach is saying 6 rounds , but if you can get dropped by Kendall Holt then I think it could be more like 4 onesided rounds.

Id say it was a pretty decent comparison, I think Hatton hit much harder though....

Kendall Holt is actually a pretty big puncher.

Yeah i know , I just mean the levels rather than the power, if you dont see Kendall's punches coming then Im sure you dont see Manny's.

I think that's a big of a stretch. Holt and Pacquiao are two entirely different fighters. Holt has the big left hook, Pacquiao has the big straight left. They're coming from different angles. Maybe it's easier for Timbo to see one over the other one. Maybe Timbo will fight Pacquiao in a different way than he did Holt. You also have to factor in that Bradley has improved since that fight.

Huh? Because they can both be maulers? Why would you necessarily say he had a better chin than Hatton? Hatton was left-hand-dominant and Bradley does most of his best head-punching with his right. Hatton's a much harder hitter. That's very significant. Bradley's head-movement is superior, also significant. They're quite different, as far as I can tell.

I agree, they have an array of important differences. At the same time, we have to assume Roach doesn't actually believe this. I think he's just trying to communicate the fact that ultimately, Manny is going to have to try and do the same types of things; circle right, avoid inside exchanges, and catch him coming in.

I think Hatton was a harder puncher but Timmy is a smarter boxer. I don't think he is dumb like Hatton thinking he could just get in the ring and throw hayemakers. Timmy may have some moments but I don't see it going pass 9 rounds.

After the fight excuses. Cramps, Hunger Pains, Went to bed at 9:35 instead of 9:30, forgot to read the bible before the fight, Jinkee wants Koncz fired, Ariza doesn't think Manny deserves 50/50 with Floyd.

Bradley is a better skilled fighter. Much more well rounded than hatton. Hatton got all he could out of his ability and Bradley is similar. If this is easy for Pac, then great for him. I just don't think so. If he's not better than november, he will lose because Bradley's young and strong and not older and too smart like Marquez. That said, Roach's predictions don't mean anything, the two fighters fight and thats that...

Bradley does not suffer the complete defensive negligence Hatton did.

Then again, thats what made Hatton. But they're two completely different boxers.

Roach couldn't be more wrong. Bradley actually has better boxing skills than Hatton and has options. He can fight off the back foot if he needs to for starters and he moves his damn head. Roach needs to shut up and get someone in their to help with the infighting.

This is exactly what I said. Bradley is going to get caught a lot with the hook

Manny is going to hit him with that Manilla Ice, KO5. I told you guys before, it's that new right hand... that's why Floyd is running scared.
