this is the dillema for anyone trying to cap this fight. it wouldnt surprise me to see haye winning a decision based on his speed, not going for the KO and surviving chisoras pressure.

but i can also see chisoras constant pressure and willingness to absorb punishment to dish it eventually discouraging haye and david gets caught and finished somewhere in the later rounds.

tough to bet on a guy that can easily be KO'd and equally tough to bet on a guy that in all likelihood will need a KO to win.

Chisora is still underrated! This is a much closer fight than people think!
Chisora can cause some real problems for haye!
He will make him fight the whole 3 min of every round!

I am rooting for Haye and think he would win this, though here's what I believe might happen in this fight.

Chisora, as proven, is an aggressive one-dimensional fighter with decent power. He can cut-off the ring which is good news for him in this fight but still predictable. If Chisora commits to the body and keeps throwing nonstop while properly handling Haye's power/counters, this could spell doom for Haye. The longer the rounds go, the more forced Haye is to use his legs and hands(unlike the Wladimir fight) to keep Chisora off. The longer that happens the quicker Haye is to run out of gas and I think it's obvious Haye DOES have stamina issues if his opponents forces him to stay active. I personally believe that Haye's power WILL back Chisora off and possibly hurt him, I will be shocked if Chisora is able to absorb heavy clean blows right after his fight with Vitali. Surely, in my opinion, the Vitali fight might have taken some out of his ability to absorb punches. If not, then Haye is in for hell.

This is a fun unpredictable fight, something the division has lacked for a long time.

Very true, Chisora winning by decision is even a possibility.

Hoping that Haye wins but have a feeling Chisora will.

Chisora's style is horrendous for Haye and im slightly suprised he took the fight.

It will be an exciting fight, thats one thing im certain off.

I see this completely different to a lot of people on here.

Chisora is getting huge props for 2 half decent showings in his last 2 fights. Both fights were against big, upright guys with no footwork at all and in both fights his opponents were fighting one handed for much of it.

Now... the slow footed pressure fighter is going to be in with a guy much much faster of both hand and foot who even Wlad struggled to land clean punches on, is very accurate and hits hard. I see Chisora getting picked apart and eventually stopped.

Someone said earlier Chisora cuts the ring off!!!! no he really doesn't... he comes in straight lines and that against Haye is going to be suicide. Haye has a height, reach and massive speed advantage here as well as better boxing ability and Chisora's only hope is to trap Haye and pin him down. I don't think Del Boy has quick enough feet to do that.

Think of this fight as Margarito v Mosley. Chisora will keep coming, eating heavy punches and trying to get off with his own but eventually the speed, reflexes and power of Haye will cut him down

Chisora is a bigger, stronger Fragomeni for Haye

Let's not compare DelBoy to Wlad. Wlad was forced to fight tentively b/c Haye could win rds darting in and out and making it a defensive fight.

Chisora will not give Haye the space he needs to get those potshot type punches off nearly as clean. He'll have to club at Chisora inside and DelBoy will be thumping him with winging shots up and DOWN.

Haye aint fought an aggressive body puncher who could likely take his best shots without flinching.

IF DelBoy goes right after the body, early and often.....my prediction is DelBoy by T/KO10-12 or tight UD. 7/5-6/5 one10/10.
IF DelBoy commits to headhunting or comes in outta shape.....Haye wins a similarly effecient decision, which is about the most likely outcome since Del's ring IQ and ability to commit to training is unproven.

I think Chisora can weather the storm if he comes in shape like in the helenius and vitali fight. It just depends if chisora comes in shape.

:patsch You make it sound like Haye is just going to stand on the ropes and allow Chisora to tee off on him and allow it to become an inside fight where Haye loses all of his advantages... Haye is much more athletic and agile and won't be providing Del Boy the stationary target he needs to tee off.

Del Boy has NO footwork and has an inability to cut off the ring.

I'm also not sold on this Chisora having some superman like chin neither. He has only thought one puncher.... Helenius.... and he broke his right hand when he landed a punch that visibly wobbled Chisora in the first round so couldn't land anything with significant power throughout the rest of the fight.

Chisora did well against a one handed Helenius and showed heart whilst getting dominated by a 1 armed Vitali... you boys are over rating Chisora, A LOT

Hayes hand speed and the way he throws could be significant if he can catch del boy when he's trying to roll it could cause Chisora problems. The shots u dont see hurt the most.

Vitali and Helenius are big punchers but they are slow you can see them coming. Haye is a lot sharper but doesn't have the volume.

Chisora can win with pressure i don't think hes a big enough puncher to KO Haye with one shot i think he will need consistent pressure over a number of rounds.

Haye may to choose to sacrifice power for volume, Chisora is limited if Fury beat him with arm punchers Hayes greater upper body and foot movement might allow to just to touch Chisora up to a UD.

I think Derek will come in walk onto something big early he might recover to win some rounds and cause Haye trouble but i can see a UK ref stoppage after 7 or 8 rounds for Haye i just dont think Derek is all that good hes struggled with Sam Sexton and Fury and neither of them are world class.

Haye has struggled with Wlad - who hasnt
Against two real come forward fighters like Mormeck and Ruiz Haye has always come out on top. Both had successe against Haye but Mormeck ended getting KTFO and Ruiz got beaten and bashed up. Dels Freshness and youth might help him to survive a bit longer but i dont think hes as good as either of them

I was thinking Chisora's style is good for Haye but seems the opinion here is other way. I see Derek walking onto some massive shots and finding it hard to pin down Haye to land enough of his own, Haye by stoppage

Haye will stay on the outside and counter Chisora. I don't see much trouble for him to stay out of Chisora's range. Chisora is just too slow and doesn't bring much else to the table. A decent chin won't win him this fight.

I think Haye should stop Chisora in 8-10 rounds.

im surprised so many people see this as a 50-50 fight, maybe they've been caught up in the hype.
for me, chisora's not a puncher, although he keep coming and making vitali work, he never once had him hurt.
chisora's like a joe frazier without the power.
despite what people think about haye, he can box a bit, and he has the power to hurt del boy. 70-30 in haye's favour.
