BTW who's HBO position was Dan Rafael applying for? Did he apply for a NEW vacany or did he apply to replace someone?

There is only one way to settle this beef. Lace em up for 3 rounds with Haye as the special guest referee.

 Fat Dan got schooled. Kim is a pretty good writer though, Rafael good reporter but sometimes he annoys me.

Steve Kim (and just about every other boxing writer) is clearly jealous of Rafael's position with ESPN. Kim's biggest problem is that he can barely write at all. Rafael isn't a great writer by any means, but Kim's articles and tweets are just full of grammatical and spelling errors.

I respect Kim as a boxing insider, and I tend to agree with his opinions more than Dan's. My biggest problem with Dan is his pro-Golden Boy bias (often seems like he's just copying GBP PR material) and his terrible taste in everything outside of boxing. He's a WWE fan who also likes Duke, the Yankees and Giants, despite living in Virginia...loser

rafael is a fat **** he wished shannon briggs went 10 more rounds with vitali so vitali could've killed him all because briggs called him fat.

he calls david haye a tweet blocking cry baby but when i tweeted and asked if he's ever been to a salad bar the fat mother ****er blocked me.

Steve Kim is absolutely the last person in the world who should accuse another boxing writer of conflict of interest problems. This guy works for a site owned by a promoter, has had no problem accepting goodies from Showtime PR people while ripping HBO week after week, and has tailgated at Top Rank events he's supposed to be objectively covering. This doesn't even get into his tendency to reprint stuff pushed by transparent Top Rank PR shills as if it's gospel truth, thus "Mayweather-Ortiz did 850k buys and HBO has inflated Floyd's numbers for years."

I see by your avatar you are still a big fan boy of Floyd Mayweather. Did Fat Dan diss him during his bout with Big Show? That why you pissed? :think

honestly.. they're both D level writers.. it sucks.. considering boxing is one of the classiest sports in the world, you'd expect a bunch of articulate experts.. but outside of lampley and kellerman, all reporters and commentators in boxing suck.

hearing rafael commentate is the biggest joke ever.

and he looks like the billy madison wrestler
