You beat me to it. I think that's a fairly good comparison for this match, the difference being that Chisora is massively bigger than Fragomeni, hits harder and may take a better shot.
The problem I have with Haye, if he doesn't get Chisora out of there early or at least hurt him badly enough to make him go into a shell is that since moving up from cruiserweight his output has dropped significantly and he starts blowing a lot earlier....partially because I don't think he holds the extra weight so well, but also because he tries to load up on almost every shot he throws.

Personally i think Haye has more leg buckleing power than Vitali these days.
Prime Vitali hit like a mule but this version punches like Calzaghe.... just with heavier hands

I dont think Vitali has much of a power. It is just guy is huge behemoth and when he sit on his punches there is just lot of weight behind it.
I think He just does not have that snap. He punches so different than guys like David and Wlad. These two has explosive punchers with just cracking power.:think

And to Floyd g.o.a.t if anyone it is Dereck who will get the pizza face in this fight either he win or lose. Dereck is going to eat a LOT of leather I think.:hey

:huh In his 5 fights at Heavy he has gone the distance twice and had a fairly active 9 rounds against Ruiz and didn't look overly tired in any of those. I think the Haye stamina issue **** is becoming a bit of a myth

He's still human and you don't need to go down to have a fight stopped. If he is taking a hiding and his eyes are closing up the ref will stop it regardless of his conscious state.

^This. Haye will run the whole night and grind out a boring points win.
If he stood and brawled, i would think Chisora has the edge.

Chisora has only been in with 1 'puncher'... and he was wobbled in that fight in the 1st round.
Going into the Haye fight Ruiz had only ever been stopped once. Cold against one of the biggest punchers in the last 20 years.

Chisora may well have a better chin than Ruiz but in fairness to Stocks... Ruiz had a much more proven chin

I think this will be a pretty easy night for haye. He loves fighters coming at him and missing so he can counter, he is too fast for Chisora. I think Chisora is a bit overrated, remember Vitali is 40 years old and by far not the same fighter he was years ago. In addition Vitali fought with only one arm... and still made it a near shotout.

Btw, why does anybody give haye cred for taking this fight? Who wouldn't for the amount of money they're getting?!? For the Audley Harrison match he earned around 5 million pounds (!!!). For this it will be an even bigger payday.
