Whats up with the newly regained Kirkland hype?

molina's boring as hell. I love boxing but I would rather see kirkland in against guys who come to fight, guys who come to inflict damage, and guys who come to knock other guys out. molina does neither, and his fighting style is ugly. I agree that a rematch is probably in order out of respect for molina's performance, regardless of the fact that it was ****ing ****, but kirkland versus basically everyone else at jmw other than molina is much more compelling.

 

I said that, it still doesnt take away from the fact that kirkland's hype never diminished regardless of the molina fight. no one here thinks kirkland is capable of winning a fight against a consistent, technical, some say (I say) boring, fighter. Kirkland does either perform well, or crash and burn, against guys who comes to fight, and that's what everyone wants to see.

 

Styles make fights, if your gonna fight like a ***** like Molina did then you can make brawlers look bad, Kirkland still has a chance against anyone in the division (maybe not Lara)

 

Now that I think about it, is there a single Molina loss that hasn't been a robbery?

man **** all that, how come kirkand is not fighting canelo when he was promised to get the fight if he beat angulo in mexico ? the punisher is getting the fight after ko loss like kirkland and then a gift win like kirkland and a ok win against ishdia. we all know kirkland is a one trick pony but i dont see golden boy honoring the match up they promise kirkland.that what the hype is all about, new to you old to me.

 

because he deserves a shot after what he did to Angulo. we arent just gonna let Canelo(e)s punk ass get away with not fighting him.

I agree....he's a joke of a contender. He's a bully that can't take being bullied back....doesn't have the one punch power people think he does, got bullied by weak featherfisted Molina and pushed around the ring, got KO'd by beyond featherfisted Ishida and almost got KO'd by Angulo (although Angulo is excusable cause he really can crack). Basically he gets outboxed by anyone with decent boxing skills and if he's getting bullied by the likes of Molina and Ishida he obviously ain't ****ing with any of the stronger top fighters at 154 either. He's JMW Brandon Rios with a way shittier chin. Canelo would ****ing destroy him in 2 rounds tops. Kirklands only hope is fighting guys that are easily intimidated or guys that are slow as **** and wide open like Angulo. He doesn't desrve a title shot, def doesn't deserve a big money fight vs Canelo and I can't see him beating anyone in the top 10. He's a hypejob, like I said the JMW Brandon Rios with the worst chin in the sport.

Williams stands a far better chance vs Canelo, a much better fight, a much better fighter and a guy who will not wilt under pressure. Williams is a really live underdog vs Canelo. His high volume and pressure could earn him a points victory vs a guy with Canelo's workrate if he can take his bombs and explosive combos. I think WIlliams vs Canelo is close to 50/50 and if the odds are good I'm definetly dropping a good load of cash of P-Dub

 

kirkland earned the fight when he stoped angulo in mexico. thats what he was promised before the fight, i bet my bottom dollar had krikland loss to angulo krikland would be fighting canelo next.the punisher is punch drunk and dead man walking, krikrland is the real goon 154. thats why hes not fighting canelo and williams is duh !!!

 

Not sure, the guy's horrible getting KO'd against any of them.

 

Canelo aint fought a pure banger yet either. He may be yrs ahead of Kirkland in terms of ability, but Kirklands raw power and unrelenting attack would be more than enough if Canelo's chin aint average or above.........and he cant lay claim to having a solid beard just yet cuz it aint been cracked proper.:deal

 

One jab from Canelo knocks Kirkland out cold.
