    Imo. he won against Dirrell... although it did look like it was Dirrell's fight to loose. But he did... by fighting like a novice.

    Taylor.... Froch KOed Taylor, so I dont see how that is an issue?

    Taylor lost every round after the 6th,he was then punched senseless and saved by the ref in the dying seconds of the fight.
    Dirrell was so sure of his pre fight boast's that he spent every minute of every round burning his shoe leather.Please don't run the "clean and effective punching" routine past me either.
    As for a Calzaghe/Froch head to head,Froch lose's every time,but that says more about Froch's limited ability rather than Calzaghe's supposed greatness.
    Calzaghe has to rank as one of the most overated fighters in history,and his '0' means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.

    "Buffoon" :lol:

    He don't have a single win vs a real top 168lbs, exactly like Bute.

    I would rank herbie hide above Tyson, if he had beaten Lewis Bowe and holyfield, but he was never capable of that so its a pointless question.

    Exactly fella.But imagine IF Taylor hadnt gassed,and imagine IF Dirrell hadnt fought like a novice,then they would both have won.
    Folks want to forgets IFS and BUTS and stick to the facts.To say Froch could have beaten Ward and Kessler means **** all,he didnt.

    not going to happen, and he lost to Calzaghe victim Kessler, who's incidentally Ward's best win. Calzaghe's win over Eubank and Kessler is greater than anything Ward, Froch and Bute have accomplished, so no. Also, H2H Zaggers would slap the **** out of Froch for 12 rounds :deal

    Kessler did better against Calzaghe than he did against Ward. And the fact Joe beat him years ago doesn't have any bearing on the quality of Ward's win.

    Eubank was well past it; in fact, considering his tactics and the speed required by his gameplans, he was past it going in the first Collins fight. He also expected a different fight (at 175) and was given a shorter than average notice to fight.

    Calzaghe didn't beat one SMW that I would fancy against Ward or Bute on a H2H level. :conf

    Even if he beats Bute, rematches and beats Andre Ward, he would still have that loss to kessler and Calzaghe beat Lacy and Kessler for the IBF and WBA/WBC belts so it would have to be one Froch that continues fighting overseas and beating guys like Taylor, Johnson and makes his case of fighting against everyone and never hide behind his hometown judges and refs...

    I agree with 1-3 but why does he have the biggest heart of them all?
