Closest he got was Corrales, and it's a stretch to call him great. But he was dangerous and in his prime when Floyd destroyed him, so he does deserve some credit there.

And if I look at today's ranking there will be some questionable rankings ! But im sure someone will call them winners as well ..

I also find it conveinent that Mayweather had no one to fight on the come up but yet picked these guys to fight after they had a few losses ..

Hatton was exposed in the Collazo fight yet he was worthy of a top 10 ranking p4p ? Yeah I get it now ..The world knew he had no business at welter but I guess all logic changes when Money May fights them ..

Doniare is also in the top 10 is Floyd going to fight him as well

You do realize if they ever fight and Mayweather wins that people will MOST LIKELY say Pacquiao was no longer "prime" thus validating and invalidating (now that I re-read it) the OP's question.

It's a never ending circle of stupid.

Both Pac and May are damn good fighters in their own respective ways. Deal with it.

Pac doesn't seem to worry about his legacy...it is Pretty Boy, who now calls himself "Money" for some reason, who seems to be so hung up on his "legacy concept".

I doubt very many people would give Mayweather much credit if he decisively beat Pacquiao at this stage in both of their careers.

His nuthuggers would overreact and his haters would just say he waited for Pacquiao to get old and slow. This is a no win situation, so my point remains the same regardless of how you feel about Mayweathers resume.

So in theory a win over either is merely "okay" at this point in time. Both are slowing down, and it's a damn shame it didn't happen earlier.
