The Lynchburg boxer was hard at it Monday afternoon, training for his June 8th fight in Las Vegas against former world middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik. Sigmon says early on he thinks Pavlik had no respect for him, but now realizes the 25-year-old from Central Virginia is coming to fight and expects to pull a huge upset.

Scott Sigmon, 22-3, 12 KO's, said "I still don't think he thinks there's any way I can win the fight but he thinks it's gonna be a tough fight. But I would suspect around six or seven he's gonna realize he's gotten a little too deep into the pool. He's probably seen some of the early videos when I used to fight like a toughman competitor so he probably thinks he's gonna throw a punch straight up the pipe and just stop me, one or two rounds. But you know I'm telling him right now, I'm telling you Kelly, you better come ready baby 'cause you've got to break down this wall."

    Im literally a Wall bro...

i'm really hoping kelly's comeback proves fruitful man, and he doesn't slip into any of his old pitfalls. there are entirely too many matchups one could see him winning, with serious implications.

All of Pavlik's training involves doubling the jab.

We saw what a Pavlik fresh out of rehab could do with Martinez . . Yes, literally, he just got out of rehab when he started training camp. . . He had to kill himself to make the weight. . . And still won 4,5 rounds, and put Sergio on his ass.

If Pavlik can still make 160 healthily, which I think he can, then he's going to clean house. . .
