If Floyd moves away from his current position (40M flat guarantee) would you approve?

    If negotiations occur, what would your stance be if Pac called Floyd's bluff and Floyd switched it up to even LESS, like 35M, no PPV.


    Approve/disapprove and STATE WHY

    Assume Pac-Bradley does something like 1.1-1.2m buys, pac winning non-controversially


    There were prior threads where the vast majority had no issue with the split until Floyd turned it into an issue.

    If Pac agrees to 40M and to forfeit potential tens of millions to Mayweather, I would approve Mayweather changing his position to try and rob Pac of more millions. Something tells me that would be too obvious for our little Floyd and he knows even his devoted fanatics could not save him from being eternally blamed for the breakdown of the fight. The weight will likely be the next issue, 154 or no fight, 10oz gloves, demands like that.

    Didn't you just contradict yourself? You say you'd approve of it, then continue to say negotiations would break down because of it. So you want negotiations to break down?

    Of course they both do. This is assuming the Bradley fight does typical numbers though. There is no justification for moving the goalpost yet again in this case

    Mayweather has been very smart when it comes to ppv numbers. He fights cotto who is a good draw himself, and most importantly, has canelo on the undercard. Canelo is a big star himself already.

    I doubt pacman can sell as much fighting Bradley.

    I'm sure they'll do all sorts of comparative analysis but this is all assuming that Pac does in fact sell a lil less on average than Floyd thus taking the 40 mil. BUT at that point Floyd asserts 35m after that.

    Arum can put together a comparable card if he really wanted to.

    If Pac-Bradley does REALLY bad like less than 800k then I would approve. Otherwise no.

    Well, looking at the viewership for Ortiz-Berto and Bradley-Alexander, both compelling matchups, the logs for the former had 1.5m viewers, while the latter 1.3m so the expected value of buys should be roughly similar (a lil less) than Floyd-Ortiz, at around where I placed it at 1.1 or so

    Pac is a megastar too. The Bradley fight will do at least 1 mil imo.

    The megastar didn't do near 1,000,000 with Clottey...they didn't even do 75% of 1,000,000....:patsch

    Yup, but for some reason they didnt. They should have had chavez vs lee on the undercard. That would have been awesome.

    I would not approve. And it would just show mayweathers true intentions, if that was the case.
