He also signed for it on the original date in November, where Kessler got injured. Both times it was to be a mandatory for Stieglitz.

    Stieglitz never ran from it.

Not way to much, actually slightly below what he has earned. Froch was two million plus, so was Ward. ****** paid him **** loads for the JC fight, Kessler is a star in Denmark.

From a business perspective, it probably doesn't make much sense to pay Stieglitz top dollar to come fight in Denmark when the general public wouldn't know the difference between him and e.g. Allan Green. As a fan, I'd have preferred to see Kessler fight Stieglitz, but I understand why it isn't happening.

Sounds like a more legit purse for someone like Stieglitz.

...yet Kessler pulled out on "injury", and fights Green two weeks later. :huh

If that is what happened, Stieglitz should be thanking Sauerland. AA is a very winnable fight for him.

Well maybe he'll get a draw if he wins 10 rounds.

I have a friend who is close to Kessler's entourage, and he gave me some of them and others I have from the media.

I agree that Stieglitz has a fair chance, but wouldn't you also think that AA is the favorite?

Yeah I think AA is the slight favorite in this fight. There is a pretty good chance though of Stieglitz simply outworking him. Especially since AA does not have the physical advantage he had at 160 where he could take rounds off and trust his power.
