I find that amusing that Bute is hiding in Great Britain. It's good for his concentration.

According to Larouche twitter, Bute's weight yesterday before training: 176 pounds. The weight will be easy to make.

 

And in last week's interview, Larouche says Bute will weigh 180 on fight night.

Froch is a natural SMW who weighs ~170 on fight night.


After taking heavy punch #1 right on the chin, Froch will probably smile at Bute.

After taking heavy punch #38 right on the chin, Froch might reconsider his gameplan (and still won't listen to McCracken).

After taking heavy punch #84 right on the chin, Froch might be on the canvas. Who knows.

A while back, after Rumsfeld (co-host of boxing radio on this site) bashed on Bute, I told him he should made an alt to bash on Bute because its not very professional as a journalist.

Since he is the guy (or was it boxing girl) who called Bute "Buttgay" in their "ranking" system, my question is:

Is that you Rumsfeld?

Shaunster have already a kind of entertaining and midly inteligent trolling, I dont know why he would need to make an alt.

P.S. After May 26th I will mock you all until I can mock no more.

 

If Bute beats Froch and there is no rematch and Ward meets Dawson in 8th September as rumors say.There is little chance Ward-Bute could happen this year.So I think its better for Lucian to move up to LHW he would not struggle to make weight he will be even more powerful.
He could fight Hopkins,Pascal,Dawson,Cloud,Kessler,Cleverly.
He should stay at SMW if he would get a unification fight with Ward or Stieglitz but only if it would happen this year.Bute has no time to spare or wait for Ward.
Does anybody know if that August fight in open air in Quebec is still in works ? or Lucian will only fight 2 times this year now and later this year.
If it is for that open air fight he could fight Kelly Pavlik,Andre Dirrell,Thomas Oosthuizen or Adonis Stevenson and this fight will put an end to his contract with Showtime and move to HBO where the big bucks are.

 

I dont think you will because of the three outcome of the fight, you wont mock us.

1- Bute won
2- Froch win
3- it's a draw

In my opinion, whatever the outcome, Bute will look good and will gain more respect from boxing fans.

 

I really think that we should wait until after the Froch fight before answering those questions. Then we should wait to see what will Ward do. If he sign with Dawson before the Bute fight, it means that Ward dont want Bute (at least this year). His negociation power with both would be better if he (Ward) have two contender who want to fight him.

Plus we dont know what will Showtime think of all this. They didnt want any fight with both Ward and Bute except to face each other. When/if Ward sign with Dawson, they might stay in the same route or accept some names for Bute to put an end to this contract between Bute and Showtime.

In any case, theres too much thing we dont know to speculate at this time.

Trollers will say: « Come on, it's only jokes, you don't have any sense of humor...» But I don't see Shaunster makes any jokes on Ward boxing in Oakland... Ironically, it's probably sure that Ward will never fight outside of U.S.

Butés's trollers-haters was based on 2 assertions:
a- fight only in his hometown
b-glass-jaw fraud
they failed completely completely now that Buté is already in England.
And I think they will fail for the second assertion with the may 26 fight.
