Shame on you for lumping Cuevas in with Arguello, Morales, Sanchez. Cuevas was a can crusher.

Some of you are listing Americans of latino decent....not sure if these names qualifies for the thread question  I guess so ......was not what I was thinking, but I guess it´s okay...

IF this is the case, I have to list Manuel Ortiz in that list, love the man.....

salvador sanchez, the slickest afroed out latino i've ever seen. he wasted zero movement and had devastating punching power. wilfred benitez won a title at 16 with all of his classmates at the fight, against kid pambele, an atg, with no sweat. roberto duran obviously beat srl, but his beatdown of davey moore and toe to toe war with the much, much larger Iran Barkley are his best performances in my opinion. danny li'l red lopez was an all out warrior, so was yaqui lopez. there's more, I just have to think.

It's between Valdez and Cervantes, IMO. I lean towards Cervantes considering his achievements at 140, but Valdez's run at Middleweight could arguably be considered just as impressive, for a time being rivaled only by Briscoe, who he eventually conquered. Cervantes's wins over Locche and De Jesus were impressive, especially considering the fluid defender Locche was and the textbook approach of Cervantes's outfighting abilities.

    Cool clip, thanks for posting!

I've heard good things about Caraballo but haven't gotten around to watching a lot of him. Lora was amazing, such a jester in the ring with his combination of skills and athletic ability.
