Is it too risky for Bradley to take the fight to Pac?

Is it too risky for him to attempt to maul Pac and bust him against the ropes?

Bradley is an excellent infighter, one of the best in the game.

He has a tenacious punching style, smart headmovement, and extreme versatility unseen by almost any other fighter today.

When he puts it all together he is a monster.

Is Pacquaio's speed, power, and accuracy too much for Bradley or should he take it to Pacquaio? Pacquaio is not known for his inside fighting ability.

I believe that Bradley has a better inside game than Pacquaio or at least has shown a better inside game than Pacquaio in the past.

I feel if Pacquaio neglects this aspect of his game, he may get beat in the late rounds after the first rounds if Bradley manages to get Pacquaio to expend unnecessary energy.

Pacquaio cannot underestimate this type of fighter. No fighter can underestimate this type of fighter.

And as good as Bradley has been, we haven't even seen the best of Bradley yet.

For people that think this is going to be easy for Pac, they are in for a shock.

Nobody better look past this kid.

no doubt about it, YES. manny pacquiao is still a dynamic, hard puncher who comes with venom from all angles, and timothy bradley's chin has failed him against kendall holt. that was one of the most vicious knockdowns i've ever seen where the fighter on the receiving end still managed to survive. furthermore, I havent seen evidence of timothy bradley's boxing skills. he ususally wins his fights by ducking shots and coming in with good body or head work, and his head. the only time I recall seeing him box was against abregu, who was a pure slugger and nothing more. he has an upphill battle against pacquiao.

Bradley is still off balance a lot and defenseless at times when Pac will be offensive. I just don't see Bradley doing much in this one. I'm not sure if I hope the youngster goes into survival mode or not. It could prolong his career.

I hate Bradley when he fights inside. The right hook is gonna mess him up like it did Hatton.

If Bradley really comes to fight he's gonna get torn up. If he doesn't go down and stay down he could take a significant beating. He's not ready for this fight but then again he may never get another opportunity like this

I cant believe that he said he wanted to feel pacquiao's power. that's the last thing he should want. if he thinks he's going to overpower manny, he's fooling himself. max kellerman couldnt believe he said that during the faceoff.

sounds like Bradley's chin didn't fail if it was one of the most vicious knockdowns you've seen.

You're falling in to the fallacy of the cherry-picked knockdown. If you pore through the career highlights of virtually any fighter you'll find such a moment.

i.e. Alvarez, Khan, Cotto, Andre Ward, all had similar moments. It's rarer to find a fighter that hasn't been knocked down or badly wobbled in a 28 fight career.

don't hook with a hooker as they say.

Bradley isn't quite that reckless, though.

He stays too long in Pac's mid range...he gets sparked.

He'll have to if he wants to win. . . He should definitely apply intelligent pressure for periods of each round. .

Sometimes you gotta risk it to get the biscuit.

It's not like this hasn't ever been done before. Tijuana successfully took the fight to emmanuel many times during their 1st fight.

his chin failed him but his heart didn't, that's how I see it. being knocked out is neurological.

Good point. Pacquaio handled Hatton on the inside very well.

But on this forum, the preeminate thought is that Pacquaio has no inside game.

It looked pretty lethal against Hatton.

No, he's on record on this point. He is going to "isolate him" with his feet. Which means he's going to move laterally and stay at range and make controlled, opportune attacks on the inside. Lots of mugging, holding, mauling that Pacquiao will find frustrating.
