I feel like they care about it way more in england. I follow the english domestic scene loosely, and the crowds they draw are ridiculous.

I wouldn't call it a mainstream sport but it's still popular, we could do with another mainstream star like Hatton to keep it in the papers. Local shows for British titles are usually well attended and big shows do very well.

    Here's my guess:

    1 futbol

    2 rugby
    3 cricket
    4 boxing
    5 curling
    6 darts

Interesting. I would have though boxing was above cricket and rugby, only a distant second to futbol.

Tell u the truth, based on the several times I've been there....the only sport that matters is soccer....everything else is a niche sport.

I'd say Cricket and Rugby are probably tied second. We're also big on motor racing and Tennis due to national interests. Darts is more popular than Curling.

We all go crazy over certain fights - Like Hatton Vs. Mayweather, Bruno Vs. Tyson II amongst others.

On the whole, whilst domestic fights DO sell out, Boxing itself isn't that big.

Haye vs. Chisora will be huge, assuming they get the build-up right.

They care about it so much that they created a British Boxing Forum.

I think the British attitude to boxing is great, they never stop dreaming of having champions and their support is like nothing else. Sometimes the expectation leads to delusion in boxers abilities, but the boxing world lucky to have such devoted and animated fans

Like in every sport we want to see people from here do well, but overall I'd say it isn't really cared about, local boxing cards might be full but people are only going because they have nothing better to do in the evening, me and one of my friends go boxing for pre-drinks :/

Not very popular at all really. Most people don't know **** about boxing. Most probably don't even know who Carl Froch is.
