Floyd Can Tie Henry Armstrong If He Fights Sergio Next

    He was already the welterweight champion, now that he has moved up and beat the man to beat at 154 for his title, he now has a chance to be the only man with three championships in as many divisions since Armstrong if he jumps to 160 and takes on Sergio.

    Crazy.

    Unless he gets stripped, but it doesn't seem like they will since he earns so much with sanctioning fees.

    I really dont think Floyd would be very effective at 160,I could be wrong

    Floyds done weight jumping. 5 is enough. Its not THE title anywhere. Diservice to Armstrong who was the man in 3 divs.

    What else could he have done that he didn't do? He's only missed out on one champ in a division and that was Tszyu at 140.

    No, he'd have to grab the LW and MW titles... unless you want him to grab LHW. Armstrong took 3 of the original 8

    He can't even make 154 how the hell is he going to 160? Plus he is getting old, facing jail time and will be carrying the weight. Against a weaker 160lber champ he can do it but against Martinez would be too much risk.

    he didnt look all that good @ 154 and could barely make the weight. moving to 160 is a bad idea.

    LOL Floyd got tagged more than expected by cotto, who is really not a big jr. middleweight but a big welterweight. Imagine Floyd facing Martinez, who is a BIG jr. middleweight but not a big middleweight, who has knocked folks @ middleweight.

    Again, the " coulda shoulda woulda " theory of a *****.
