I got tickets to carl froch, but most people i tell don't care and dont know who he is.

It does seem to have a good following of hardcore fans though.

MMA isnt very big here at all so boxing doesnt have to compete as much.

It blows my mind when you get HBO fights in america that don't sell out small venues. In England, even local events do more than HBO events in America.

pardon me, am an ignorant American. But wtf, boxing is on the darts level? Actually I'm mostly right. There's football than everything else.

Same. You get some top fighters boxing in front of an empty arena.

How hard is it to sell 7000 ****ing tickets!?

I'd reckon it's probably higher than boxing.

Boxing has a decent hardcore following in England and usually domestic shows do good numbers. But it's not a mainstream sport at all, the average person would probably know two active boxers at best. As for the sports above it, I'd say all these are more popular than boxing: football, rugby union, rugby league, cricket, golf, tennis, f1, snooker, darts, horse racing (loads of people bet on it) and athletics as the Olympics are coming up. Boxing is a very niche sport, although we care about it more than any other Europe nation, other than maybe Germany. as for the comments about British fans, we're like that with all sports lol

Boxing is bigger than darts and snooker IMO.Id say it goes...

    1. Football

    2. Rubgy Union
    3. Cricket
    4. F1
    5. Horse racing
    6. Boxing
    7. Rugby League
    8. Tennis
    9. Snooker
    10. Darts

When Wimbledons on tennis shoots up as every twat becomes a tennis expert then most forget about it again. I just think boxing is talked about more often and by more people than those below it, even rugby league.

The people at boxnation think we love it enough to have a cable channel dedicated to it.

Boxing's got a good hardcore following.
