Who impresses you more, Golovkin or Pirog?

I havent seen a whole lot of both but just on few fights I wanna say Golovkin....

Such deep amateur pedigree.. Very educated smart boxer.... Almost like another Kostya Tszyu...

Power in both hands....

Personally I think that clown Chavez should stop milking his fake title and give either one of them a shot.

i think golovkin might have more upside, but we relaly haven't seen what he can do because nobody wants to fight him. . .

i think what pirog did to blue chip prospect danny jacobs is more impressive than anything golovkin has done thus far, so i gotta roll with pirog. . .


but really they are both in a similar boat - talented, dangerous boxers, but don't have much of a name outside their home countries, so nobody wants to fight them to give them a chance. . Hopefully HBO will start forcing guys to fight them.

Pirog right now. You know it's bad when posters have to hype Golovkin by showing amateur fights that happened years ago in order to hype him.

 

I like Pirog's slick whiteboy style :deal. Not joking I wish I could see more of him on american tv.

 

From what I've seen of Pirog, seems pretty descent.

 

I think Golovkin would beat Pirog, but I think both would beat Martinez.

 

I like them both, but am more impressed with Golovkin.................

Triple Gizzay has a little more wow about him...but I reckon he is going to end up losing like Tszyu did..He has abandoned his schooling a bit to embrace a more aggressive style..Pirog is staying true to his at the moment, I think maybe because he is a bit less physically talented than GGG..interested to see who goes better in the long run.

 

I voted GG but after watching both vids I am impressed with Pirogs bodywork and movement.

 

I see Golovkin sparking em out albeit at a lower level, but Pirog is doing the business on the world stage, hey I got an IDEA!! Why don't they fight?! lollolololll

 

Danny Jacobs was a blue chip prospect. . He had great speed, good power, and was looking solid. . . I know that one dude gave him some problems, Ishe Smith, but Jacobs still pretty clearly won. . Ishe is awkward, and good - it's just hard to look good agaisnt him.

I do think Golovkin fought a bit more aggressive against Ouma to please the crowd, but he was getting hit a lot more than I would think. . .

I think Pirog has a bit more athletic gifts - speed, agility, dexterity. . Golovkin has more power. . . Technique wise, they are both excellent. . They both have unconventional styles. . Golovkin somewhat of a pressure counterpuncher, and Pirog a slick, boxer/puncher. . .

It's pretty even, IMO. . I'd love to see them fight. . But better yet, I'd love to see HBO, or Showtime bring them over and make martinez fight them.
