Pirog for sure. Golovkin seems to have more power but a cardio issue. Also, I doubt Pirog would get pushed around by some scrub Welshman and lose a close decision...(even if I thought Golovkin won.)

So Pirog's blitzkrieg of undefeated, hyped, blue-chip prospect Jacobs wasn't impressive? Dude literally took him apart! Put that boy to sleep!

Moreover, how are they supposed to get the chance if nobody wants to fight them?

Martinez wants NO PART of either. . . And ironically, he cites the same excuse Chavez has been citing for not wanting fight them: "They don't bring enough to the table financially, etc., etc. . ." That's why I don't understand how some people can criticize Chavez for not fighting Marteinz, but Martinez not wanting to fight Golovkin, or Pirog?

Anyway, lets hope HBO, and/or Showtime makes a move to bring htem over. . . Hoepfully Pirog/Gaele happens on HBO this August.

I'm going with Golovkin. It'd be nice if Sturm (or any notable Middleweight) would fight him so we could all judge him more accurately though.

I've said before that I think Golovkin-Pirog might be the most entertaining fight at this weight. Both are technically sound with nice power and I think their styles match up well together.

Ideally, we'd see GGG-Sturm and Pirog-Chavez with the winners facing-off before fighting Sergio.

Golovkin is slow, he must have excellent timing though. Not sure who's faster of the two. The only time he needed defense, he failed to employ any against Ouma.

I like to watch Pirog more, he's really slick and flashy. Both have power, but Pirog needs to load up more on his shots. Golovkin is really heavy handed... one of the most heavy handed guy out there and he sure doesn't look like it.

Pirog's great at blocking shots and countering, while Golovkin's got a more subtle defence. He's got great and economic head movement, just getting out of the way before attacking.

I think Golovkin is a bit better, Pirog's boxing a little too much for the crowd for his own good.

GGG said that bad preparation was the main reason for his sloppy performance against Ouma.

Pirog looks way better imo. Golovkin reminds me of an Abraham or Lemieux type guy who has big power and will blast out cans but has a very low workrate and will most likely get outboxed by a decent technician or anyone with a lot of speed and outworked by anyone with a big workrate and solid chin. Pirog seems a lot more versatile.

Martinez doesn't want any part of either of them. He was asked about Pirog in one interview a while ago, and he said he only wanted big fights or something. Yet he goes and fights sub standard opponents like Macklin and Barker. What a joke.

I'm more impressed by Pirog but I think Golovkin has a better chance with Martinez. Neither take a decision over him in my opinion. So the guy who has the best shot at knocking him out has a better chance and that's Golovkin.

It was a joke for Martinez to fight a guy ranked higher than both of them? What a joke this post is.
