He'll find a way to turn it around.:thumbsup They always do. But it's ok for Manny to make $15,000,000-$20,000,000 in revenue without a source.atsch To add-Floyd probably made more than $18,000,000 in revenue profit as the Cotto fight did $16,000,000 more than the Mosley Mayweather fight and Floyd made $17,500,000 off of that fight. I'm just using the $18,000,000 number to play it safe.:thumbsup
Bull****. So is every boxer on these cards. They get world wide revenue from tv rights so Manny's getting $6m and global rights and Mayweather $32m and global rights.
DoDong bounced quick after seeing his asked for source. *******s, let's put it like this..you have nothing on your side. You keep trying and trying and trying. You beg for sources and they are given to you-then you find ways to make it look like the sources given aren't true. The bottom line is the $40,000,000 offer was a fair one. Pac makes $15,000,000 more anything he ever made with this offer and Floyd would come home with about $65,000,000 and make $15,000,000 anything he ever made. *******s stop trying, or I'll keep putting you to shame on this topic.
iole said 40mil. schaeffer said close to 40mil. that is if... they did 1.4 so i say you're stupid to wholeheartedly believe that what the source schaeffer said was the truth.
Unless one of us sees a copy of Manny's contract with Top Rank, we'll never truly know how much he makes. Get over it.
I agree, but I disagree. First the base guarantee contract is what the boxer will be paid, but that money is taxed (except where prohibited). So that money does mean something. Secondly, Promoters will add all types of weird stipulations, provisions, etc in contracts. Most of these provisions benefit THE PROMOTER...!!! Case in point, I handled the contract from Sugar Ray Leonard for the Keith McKnight-Joe Mesi fight. McKnight received a based purse of $25,000 (typical ESPN FNF main event money). But the stipulations and provisions stated that, if the fight went over 6 completed rounds, Mcknight would receive a $10,000 bonus, over 8 complete rounds, another $15,000 bonus...but if he (McKnight) did not see the 7th round, he would forfeit 10% or $2,500.00....McKnight got ko'd in the 6th. SRL knew that Mcknight was ko'd before the 6th round on 3 prior occassions, and his chin was questionable. So, not only did he have to claim $25,000 on his taxes, he only received $22,500...and who pockets that $2,500 - The Promoter. Just like in other sports, baseball pitcher receive a base pay of $5 million, but they have provisions that state they get bonuses for strikeouts, era, innings pitched, no-hitters, etc.
To be fair Manny doesn't even have copies of his own bout contracts according to Vision Quest and Arum and Koncz went crazy bc they requested them and asked Manny to fire them.
it has gotten obvious that tr and later pac terminated VQ was because manny realized that result of the audit would shed light on how they manipulated the system to get away in paying more taxes. they both used another accounting firm instead. VQ deal was going to cause more harm than good.
Hold up brah? Now you are saying that he got rid of them bc they would catch some type of fraud or something on Manny and Top Rank? Is that what you are saying? I have heard it all now. So what about them loaning Manny money to buy Koncz a home and Manny promised to pay them back when he got his "advance" from Bob? He didn't and is now in a law suit behind that. lmaoatsch
:rofl:rofl it never ends with you..again, that's what he made...there is no denying it...you can twist it and turn it how you like...it is what it is man.:deal
