Cueves was got beaten by Hearns and Duran!!! What an insult to be knocked out by those terrible fighters!!!
Corrales was beat by Castillo, Clottey. Knocked out by Castillo in 4!!! Corrales was exciting but man oh man if you put him in the Hall of Fame you are ignoring real fighters who deserve it more. Don't diminish the Hall.. And don't insult Cueves. If you don't know who is he or his record then leave it alone. You insult Randy Shields who was good fighter!!! Fought Tommy Hearns and went 13 and Hearns stopped him but Randy put on a good fight!! And Cueves stopped Angel Espada in 2 rounds!! Heck he stopped Espada 2 rounds quicker than Hearns did!!!another great Hearns took 4 rounds to stop Espada back in 1980 !!

Yes, because his fights are now famous and unforgettable and many against top opposition who themselves are now famous and unforgettable.

I don't think he should be inducted in the HOF. Just not good enough. Lost to anyone really good. Good heart but skills below the Hall of Fame level. Guys in the Hall should be named Hagler,Hearns,Duran Leonard,Benitez,Cuevas,Whitaker,Delahoya,Trinidad,Sanchez,Tyson etc. I don't he will be!!! There is a standard they have to follow!!!

Of course he should. Was a decent fighter and had some good wins, but his win over Castillo is something most fighters can only dream of. Put that man in HOF and I will sleep and dream of unicorns

HoF is about FAME, and Corrales has become an ICON in boxing.

He was not famous for his skills. He gets credit but he lost too much. If you want to put people in the Hall because they were warriors but lost to good fighters then you dimish the Hall of Fame and boxing!!! He does not have a Hall of Fame resume at all!!!

the fight should be in the Hall of Fame under a fight category is they can make that, but not him.

you must be trolling if you say Cuevas and Corrales are in the same class!!!! Cuevas would have destroyed Corrales in one or two rounds!!!!

I think when chico's time comes, conestoga voters will vote with their hearts a little bit more than the body of work, and induct him, which I am totally okay with.

If there wasn't a Mayweather in Corrales' weight class he would have had the same reign Cuevas did.

he would have? Well lets take your word for it an induct him then since he doesnt have to earn it like Cuevas did!!

He did not have Cuevas reign!! In retrospect people remember Hearns destroying Cuevas to end Pipinos title defenses but he was great and strong and a terror in the division. He was unlucky to come up against a future great like Hearns!! Who knows what would have happened had he not fought Hearns. Unbelievable to compare Cuevas to Corrales!!

today people use their heart more than their logic. Corrales does not have the resume to be inducted!! He was outclassed a few times!

No. Some good wins, and some good fights, but he went 6-5 for his career in fights against other past, present or future titlists. In my opinion, between him, Castillo and Casamayor, he's probably the least worthy, and I don't think the other two belong in either.

C'mon man. He struggled at times against ****** freaking Juuko. He couldn't even make 135 much less 130 a few years later, and when he did finally burn back down to 130, he got his ass kicked by Casamayor.

Corrales was a great action fighter who had some good physical tools and a ton of heart, but didn't fight very smart and didn't seem to take to training all that well. But he wasn't some kind of beast who could have made defenses for a half decade. And Cuevas is a pretty borderline hall of famer himself.
