Burns vs. Bogere, should it happen, is a better fight anyway. Though I'd have liked to seen him beat Mitchell

Ricky wouldnt be 100% going into this fight fitness wise id be more worried about his fitness than Kevin Mitchell to be honest.
You London boys will give Ricky the credit he deserves when he hands Kevin his ass!

Why isn't he at full fitness? Injury, or is fighting 3 times a year too much stress to bear?

No-one else finds it massively ironic that Burns wouldn't be 'fully prepared'?

I give Ricky his dues, he is a world class boxer and a credit to the sport, but I'm not sure he fancied this at Upton Park. I'm not suggesting for one minute he is afraid to fight Kev, maybe it's to do with his licence.

Hes just back from being married, holiday, break, rest catch my drift.
Ricky wont fight anyone unless hes 100% fit and in that timescale he wont be,I think people have jumped the gun a little with this fight Kevin seemed to know he was fighting weeks ago we certainly never(accoeding to kevins twitter ect) but make no mistake Ricky wants to put this fight to bed and fight genuine world class opponents starting in Aug

That is totally understandable. I'll be supporting Burns every step of the way, unless he fights Mitchell who is my favourite fighter. :good

Technically Burns didn't pull out because it seems that Mitchell was the only one in.
