Ty's been a bit busy lately but I'm sure he'd be happy to accommodate.

I think the FTA fights that have been shown are repeats of fights that were previously shown on PPV elsewhere, and the boxing series drew bad reviews thanks to Billy Dib, not sure how they got vics fight on. Also comes down to $$$, as fta channels dont want to throw in much, and they control sponsorship and advertising. Fox and PPV are a little more flexible with who you put on the air as a sponsor. I also think the fan base is diminishing.

Don't mean to pick but the Klitscko fights shown on One HD were live. The replays were 'Johnny Lewis Boxing Classics' on One HD also.

Could anyone give a breakdown on what a Fox Sports Friday night card costs?

I have heard in the past a few years back, figures of in between 7-15k FOX were paying to promoters to assist when putting on cards.

These days i would be very surprised if FOX was giving 10k for any show.

When Jeff had it, it was 20 grand. It changed when they brought in new policies a couple of years ago

Geale said himself in an interview not long ago that his not going to change who he is to make noise. What people don't understand is he has a good young family and has achieved his childhood dreams. Why would you change?

The fact his chasing big fights in the US like pirog shows his intent. Win or lose he is doing everything the right way imo :good

Maybe he should play the game a little. But I agree with you.

Geale is massively disadvantaged by tabloid media here who only cover a niche sport like boxing if its a circus act of dimwits and footballers.

    Good fighter.

Him, his management and fans have no idea.

Yes, things like have a shirt that fits, or tucking it into your pants, sitting upright and talking with attitute make a big difference.

Geale's gotta learn how to sell more burgers.

Maccas doesn't sell the most burgers because they taste the best.

You can have the best burger joint in town but if no-one knows about it you'll sell fark all.
