He definitely had a chance. It was probably who landed the big shot first. Wladimir was still too confident and too offensive so he definitely had a chance to land that big shot first. Lewis was a better fighter for sure though
atschatsch:-( Vitali was his mandatory you tit. 2003 Wlad was too offensive and Lewis would have jumped all over him and shattered that glass chin real early. In 2003 Vitali was widely reagrded as the better of the 2 brothers too... Wlad was embarrassingly knocked all over the place by semi retired golfer Sanders, 3 months prior to the Lewis v Vitali fight taking place
Lewis gave Sanders a tip in the build-up to Wlad vs Sanders, which Im guessing was advice based on fighting a similar fight Lewis did vs Golota. Because the results were nearly exactly the same. Therefore all it took Lennox Lewis to KO Wladimir Klitschko, was a few words in a golfer's ear. IMAGINE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THEY MET IN THE RING!?!?!?!?
Depends who lands in the first 10 bombs. If it was Wlad, he has a chance, if Lewis has one of those bombs out of the first 10, it was lights out. Wlad was too open in those days, it would only take Wlad to miss wildly and Lewis to counter with a bomb that would put him on ***** st. Maybe a good first few rounds, when Wlad gets hurt it would be like Lewis vs Grant until the KO
I'm not sure that would really be the case. Lewis proved he had a chin against Vitali and took a lot of hard shots. If Lewis landed the shots he threw at Vitali on Wlad then it would be game over. 3 round war with Wlad landing some big shots but eventually eats the canvas twice before the ref stops it.
This current version of Wlad stood a better chance against the 2003 version of Lennox... but even this version i would expect to get stopped in the middle rounds
