Funny the WBC never mentioned any action against the Sauerlands. Obviously they're still happy to take their sanctioning fee for other Sauerland events in the future.

 

I don't understand why so many people would risk their license/job/position over this fight /if bbbc and WBC are serious about their threats..

I'm surprised that most here never saw this one coming.
The WBC was pretty clear in their statement after the Vitali vs Chisora fight, and it's kinda logical they followed in the BBBwoC's footsteps.

It's another thing that they make such a fuzz about it, threatning everyone involved in this. They are in their right to punish the fighters in any way they see fit, but like the BBBoC they should just leave it with that.

No the Super belt is just a ceremonial trinket. Wlad doesn't have to do anything to keep it other than keep his other titles.

Wouldn't surprise me. The WBA have a super, regular and interim champ at super-middle, light-welter and bantam, wouldn't be a surprise if they have 3 "world" champs at heavy as well.
