How could anyone watch this fight and still think Roy Jones had anything left? Max Kellerman in particular was saying how Jones looked pretty good. Am I the only one that realizes what would happen to any version of Trinidad that got near the same ring as a prime Roy Jones? I know they were trying to build up a fight with Calazaghe, but the Trinidad fight should have been the final nail in the coffin on Roy Jones boxing career.

I agree but Roy has wins to feed. Holyfield has 12 children. And many others are into these situations. R they supposed to do have investments or r they to be part of boxing promitional teams or Official Commissions. It's all about the money to pay the bills.

Its not about having bills to pay. Its about commentators and Jones haters saying how he looked in his prime against Trinidad or Lacey.

If we are talking prime, then RJJ by KO in less than 3 rounds.

This seems like a questions from some young and new boxing fan wondering who of two great fighters would win: Mayweather or Tyson...

RJJ and Trinidad are so different natural sizes that they should never share the same ring.

Trinidad would've kneeled like all Puerto Rican fighters guaranteed if he faced the real Prime RJJr there.

Tito performed better than expected, but Roy was done. he would have stopped him if he was a bit younger, but his confidence and killer instinct were no longer there.

I agree with you that a prime roy jones would've brutalized and stopped trinidad, but someone has to dispell the myth that trinidad and puerto ricans in general having glass jaws. yes tito got dropped a lot, but afterwards he usually got up and destroyed his opponent. I feel like a lot of knockdowns he suffered were from poor balance due his fighting style. and the only fight he ever got stopped in was against hopkins where he was brutalized for twelve rounds against a much stronger and physical opponent.

they never belonged in the same ring. too much of a weight discrepency. Both hall of famers. both legends in their own right.
