If youre tired of Mayweather Pacquiao threads, just dont read or respond :hi:

Mayweather is baiting Pacquiao to leave Bob Arum. Just like Miguel Cotto left Uncle Bob, Mayweather wants Manny to do the same. Floyd has stated publicly on all media outlets, that Bob Arum is the reason why the mega-fight hasnt happened yet and sends a clear message to Pac on what he needs to do if he's gonna fight Floyd.

This isnt about why the fight hasnt happened or whose fault it is for not happening yet, but what will need to happen for Mayweather Pacquiao to become reality.

With the way Floyd's business structure is set up, he would make tens of millions of dollars more if Bob Arum wasnt in the picture. As would Pacquiao. I don't want to hear about the 40 mil dollar offer or Floyd wants to keep 100% of the ppv. He gave Cotto a cut and im sure Pac wil get one as well.

If anyone has info on how long Manny is in contract with Top Rank or when the last time he renewed his contract, please post it here.

Manny would still have to pay A promotor if he left Arum.

I agree. Someone said Manny's contract is up in December. I'm sure he's gonna resign. As for a fight with Floyd...if Manny had a choice to pay Arum or to pay Floyd...he will choose Arum. Pacquiao's a very loyal dude, and why would he abide to Floyd's "business model" when that fool's been badmouthing him for years.

no paciquao will not need to pay for a promotor is he is a free agent. Also he can have a paciquao promotion like cotto promotion. I really don't understand why Paciquao is staying with Arum for this long.

Not as much as he would want you to believe. How can anyone forget about his bull**** stunt where he signed both a GBP and TR contact

so Cotto(e) didn't pay no fees for promotions in his last fight and it was all Mayweather? Miguel just showed up to fight and get paid?

The event would be promoted by Golden Boy Promotions as Mayweather Cotto was. There is much more money on the table to share if there arent TWO powerhouse promoters i.e. TR/GBP.

In as much as I like the idea of Pac leaving Arum, it ain't happening.
Pac is too loyal to pull off something like that.
He will retire while still under the stable of Arum.

Well yeah...but a suitcase full of c notes has a way of distracting one from those loyalties.

With the responses ive read on other threads, so far it sounds like nobody knows what they're talking about when it comes to how the business works. But we have to take into account that Floyd does indeed have a different business structure. I read an article on what exactly that structure is but im too lazy to find it.

I dont get why people keep looking at Pacquiao as a good guy when he gambles his money away, has cheated on his wife and parties hard, those same people cant hear Mayweather gambling or partying because they'll tear him to shread on the forum

Have you heard the rumors about how emmanuel or someone from his crew has tried to personally contact Floyd 1-2 times before in attempt to make the fight? Apparently, Floyd told him he needs to get his **** sorted out with bob arum first since emmanuel's contract doesn't allow him to make a fight without his promoter.

This was during the buildup of Mayweather-Ortiz

The gist of it is...is that he acts as the primary stakeholder, cutting out the middlemen(other promoters). Essentially paying the other opponent as a high priced employee and he assumes primary responsibility of profit and revenue.
