Giving you an edge in stamina would be and advantage wouldn't it. Quicker recovery would be a great advantage as well, don't you think? It might not allow you to take a punch better, but it could help you to recover from a punch a lot faster.

I have very mixed feelings about this, on one hand I'm glad he was caught for the sake of getting this **** cleaned out of the sport :happy. But on the other hand, that's 2 big summer fights shot to ****, and really screwing up what was turning out to be a pretty damn good summer of bouts .

So, he stirs in a little of his **** into his over the counter supplements and claims contamination? Sure, I'd buy that.

This is too sad in all aspects and every level. I was really looking forward to this style match up.

Conte saying this is the last drug a cheater would use because it stays in the system at least 6 months, up to 18 months. IF, and that is a big IF, this is true then it could be a contaminated supplement or some other food source. I guess the level here would be important to know.

Agreed, I think this may be a legitimate contaminated sample, not discounting the possibility of Berto being a cheat...but there may be more to this one than just "he's guilty, period".

Nope, he has, in the past, provided them with information (you know, with his druggie past) on a consultancy basis. VADA is run by former NSAC chief medic, some woman wos her name again?:think

Disappointing news for sure. Don't want to jump to conclusions so I'll wait for all the facts to come out.

Don't know why people are bringing race into it?

Anyway, this reminds me of what happened in baseball a few years back. Sometimes things have to get bad before they get better. Boxing needs to clean up and I don't think this can be debated now.
