Utter bull****. Maybe you'll re-read this after the fight and realise how daft it is. And, yes - that's bias, by the way. You've let your personal feelings cloud your analysis. Chisora's been hurt in every one of his last three fights. Fury hurt him to the body (and he's no puncher), Helenius had him hurt quite badly, and Vitali shook him up again and again. It's conceivable that Haye will hurt Del-Boy earlier, and Haye has shown he carries his power throughout a fight. Better pressure fighters than Chisora have put it on Haye and not stopped him. The only man that stopped him was a brutal puncher, an excellent fighter, and a guy that took a beating until Haye blew himself out. He's never looked in trouble of that happening again. Mormeck likely punches harder than Chisora and he never really hurt Haye. He caught him off balance and on the temple. Three rounds later he was ****ed up. Ruiz, a FAR superior fighter to current Chisroa even at that stage, laid hands on Haye and couldn't hurt him. Even Wlad, the best fighter in the division, couldn't land a huge amount once Haye took him out of his rhythm. And unlike Wlad, Haye won't have to worry about the power or precision of Chisora's punches. There is no way Dereck can win this, except in some fantasyland where he turns into Joe Frazier for the night.
Again, you missed the point...its not about whether Haye can stop Chisora (he might not spark him but he can batter him to the point of a ref stoppage) its whether Dereck can get close enough to lay a glove on Haye and having got there do some damage, he won't and he can't. A lot of the fans saying this is a 50/50 fight have been blinded to the truth by a couple of half decent performances by Del against fighters that are either average or significantly on the dip. Haye would utterly destroy the version of Helenius that Chisora fought ....for whatever reason he is massively overrated on these boards when he is at best average....Even Fury would beat him for **** sakes. Vitali has slipped so far that I think that Haye could and would beat him.....Vits legs have gone completely and he can't move....its no good having a variety of punches and power but not being able to get there.
It's just Audley all over again, people WANT Chisora to win, inexplicably, so they create this magic unicorn version. He now has the speed of Tyson, the movement of Frazier and the grit and determination of Ali. Sadly he hasn't the power, the footwork or the ring smarts to do any of the **** people are saying he can.
I think its even more of a mismatch than the Audley fight, at least he had power and a punchers chance.
Talk about lazy analysis... Chisora was fat and undertrained for Fury, that's why he performed so badly. See him in that same condition against Helenius and Vitali? No, because he actually bothered to train for those fights. Is he going to show up looking like a tub of lard for the Haye fight? Of course not. The Fury fight is IRRELEVANT.
I'm laughing into the keyboard!!! I've not let no personal feeling cloud my analysis. Not at any time did I feel that Wlad would KO haye. I always saw it as Haye running and countering, when he could, very similar to the Valuev fight. The only difference being Wlad was quicker, has a vunerable chin so was always going to keep it long and fight of the back foot when Haye launched his crude jab, flailing right hand attack. I have to watch the fight again as I didn't ONCE see Haye taking Wlad out of his rhythm? ?? If you did, then please tell me how he did this? By out Jabbing Wlad? By getting underneath Wlad's Jab and working the body then head? Lol! Wlad ultimately took Haye's only chance away by taking a few steps back when Haye launched his predictable Jab overhand right attack. Name a better pressure fighter than chisora( at heavyweight), that have put it on haye? Harrison? Valuev? Barrett? Ruiz? Lol That version of ruiz against EITHER brother would've been ridiculed! He wouldn't have lasted 7 rds against vitali. I've Simply stated the facts that Haye lacks in the chin department, the strength department, the punch output department, and the stamina department, Compared to Derreck. And I don't argue that chisora KO's Haye, I argue that he wears him down from 5/6 onwards and stops him late. Mormeck hit harder at cruiser than Derreck does at Heavy?? That just beggers belief!! You're the biased one as you seem not to accept Haye's flaws. You completely boost Haye's opponents, Ruiz, Harrison, Barrett, Valuev were more legit opponents than derrecks at heavyweight etc etc And you(and others) discredit everything that Derreck has done. Helenius was overated, Vitali's MASSIVELY on the slide..sexton isn't a british level fighter etc etc I simply have it as a 50 50 fight and I see chisora stopping david late...which I REPEAT is more plausible than Haye winning in a 6 rd demolition. That's REAL bias.
This :good Exactly as I see it....minus the early KO for david...unless Haye catches Chisora very cold!
Helenius was good enough to knock out three former world champions before his sixteenth fight, including the iron chinned Samuel Peter. But somehow that qualifies as "****" in your enlightened view of things. Tell me, what do you think of Valuev and his silky smooth skills?
Please!! You're downgrading 'Sugar' Nicolai Valuev??????!!! He Floated like a rhino, stung like feather! Whoooaaaaa!! rumble big man rumble!!!
Other then beating Helenius what else has he done? Don't tell me - he's the only man to stop Sam Sexton! He took two rounds of a faded Vitali! Wow! Somebody put those intercontinental/international belts around his waist now and usher him into the hall of fame pronto!
Yeah, big ****ing deal, he got buzzed a little by a huge puncher after taking three consecutive right hands and decides to back up. Is he wobbling all over the place? Does he go down like Haye did against Barrett? Haye doesn't put himself in the firing line to eat big shots like that. To be fair, that's to his credit, but it doesn't mean jack **** as far as chins are concerned.
