You know, I don't really blame a young guy still really just building his name, taking advantage of a match with RJJ and Toney, etc. Of course he's going to do that. To not do it would be foolish, having it fall into his lap and everything. But the system that's allowing this "interm" WBA cruiserweight title fight to get sanctioned with Toney and Mormeck who have done absolutely nothing for it lately, that's where I place the blame. Lebedev's doing his job and getting paid. I won't give him much credit as far as being able to win against these fighters but I'm not going to blame him for grabbing these opportunities that he shouldn't be getting. I blame the WBA for grabbing up anything they can find a way to bill as a title fight with name fighters no matter how ridiculous they are. The fighters can only be expected to take what they can get because the system's going to work against them more than enough in kind, regardless.
