Shaeffer was fuming on the "late" info about Peterson's drug bust that led to the cancellation of the May 19th Peterson-Khan rematch fight.

Now with Berto's drug bust, GBP has only 1 month to find a replacement boxer to fight Ortiz. I doubt GBP can find anyone credible in such a short time. It's highly possible that the June 23 fight card will be totally scrapped too.

Two cancelled fight cards. Big loss for GBP.

It's a small price the sport has to pay for its betterment. But that's the sport. The promoters will feel a little different. Schaefer has been stung badly by these new procedures, and it wouldn't surprise me if in future he'll try and ask testing agencies to secretly show some leeway for some cheats. It'll help save his shows.

While arum proves to the world his stable of fighters are clean. LMAO

Good business for arum, fighters should go to toprank, they have no interest in fair play .

    :patsch

More likely, they will change fighters contracts so they are financially liable if the fight is cancelled due to PED's.

Then why you brought up "arum proves to the world his stable of fighters are clean"?

GBP boys (Khan and Ortiz) are clean just like Top Rank fighters.
