Green is ****, he is a pretender. He pretend to be top10 SMW and he wasn't now he pretended to be a decent LHW and he wasn't, he was a **** SMW and ever shittier LHW. Kessler is clearly to small for LHW, the size difference was very visible. But even if he is to small LHW is a division with less talent than SMW and he will have more success there looking at what he has left.

Temple shot was the last in the sequence.

In hindsight im not really suprised a light heavyweight puncher like Green (as limited as he is) actually managed to hurt the smaller super middleweight fighter early, especially as early as the 1st round. Kessler recovered well and settled into his groove (a little predictable and not nearly as smooth as a few years ago) and got the job done in conclusive fashion. I do think Kessler needs to stick with the 168lb division as the size disparity was plain to see in this fight, guys like Dawson are quicker, younger and just downright fresher than Mikkel is at this point. I think Kessler should wait until Ward and Bute inevitably depart the division and then should clear up. How about that Froch rematch everyone wants, Kessler did seem to judge distance far better in this fight than he had done for a few years, perhaps he could win in more convincing fashion this time round.

    Green is interviewed.

"Fighting fights like this, I gotta stay closer to my natural weight. I can't keep doing this..."

He is asked bout the state of his eye.

    "Fine, just swollen but fine..."

He is asked if he didn't see the jab.

"I don't remember much. I remember getting hit with a big left hook, that's about it. Big left hook. I gotta stick to - (asks his trainer what he weighed in for this; his trainer responds 172 lbs) - gotta stick to my natural weight class, nahmsayin?"

No, Green - what is your natural weight class? Do you mean dropping back down to SMW or do you mean going up to LHW?

"I fought him on his terms in his weight class. He looked good. What can I say?"

Yeah, but he was already being spun around with their arms entangled and about to go down from momentum.

I don't know anymore......I honestly think Kessler has slipped but he is VERY resilient to punches but has a weak body - Calzaghe had him in round 8 of their fight.

Dawson would beat kessler but vs anyone else? 50/50.

Yeah, it was a throw, but the ref is excused because Kessler was genuinely shook for a micro-second 2 seconds earlier.

But I dont think Kessler would have gone down without the throw, so objectively there should have been no count.

dude probably got a concussion against Johnson which would have taken away the little that was left of his punch resistance

No punch resistance involved here, that was a monstrous shot; it wasn't even a lucky one, props must be given to Kessler

    Yes, true.

The KD was a throw and nothign really landed, so objectively it probably should not have been called a KD.. But the ref probably was still thinking that Kessler was actually shaken for a micro-second a few seconds earlier. Anyway - first on the books.
